You know, you can always pop the "freeze plug" from the side of the FIAV assembly, screw it completey clockwise and call it a day...it basically bypasses the FIAV "circuit" altogether.

I'll check my box o'goodies after the lil guy goes down.

Will that cause any issues with the car? It is a DD so I don't want to give up much.

All it will do is eliminate the high idle when cold start and eliminate any FIAV effects on idle surge/high idle.

Ziggy sells the fog bezels at a good price. PM him if used doesn't work out for you. That's where I got mine.
