I don't have the money to buy them yet but I was just wondering if anybody knows where I can get fenders with the "grill"? type thing in them like the side of the car past the doors. For a 1g as you have probably already realized.

I'm not sure but I believe I posted this in the wrong section. I apologize.

I assume you're talking about these:

They are called Z3 fenders.

IMO, they don't look good on a 1G.

There fixed..

I dont think they would flow right with the 1G... the 1g's are very classic styling where everything is straight edge.

Yeah Rob dont do it. Im not shure you may still have to grow out of the rice stages. Im going through mine, but all it consists of is carbon fiber hoods and hatches and redone rims tongue I went through the rice stage long before I bought the car and Im greatful for it. years of looking at the dsmtuners gallery, cardomain, dsm talk, playing need for speed and crap will show you what looks best on a DSM lol.

CLEARLY a $3000 dollar vielside body kit is best on a dsm with some ebay z3 fenders, some altezza tail light, halo head lights, and a 6 gauge pillar pod complete with narrow band gauges

I had those fenders in my talon a while back. not by choice, thats just how it worked out,

I didnt think they looked horrable.

Weight savings was quite a bit.

If I was ever to get them again, ( have been looking abit here and there ) I would probably fill the Z3 stuff in.

I wouldn't do it as a cosmetic mod

as long as water doesn't get inside that fender, r drains properly. Fiberglass? you should be able to modify them for a 1ga.

$54 alloy rim? I wonder if it needs to meet certain standards.
