single kit has one beam. hi/lo is for a car that utilizes one bulb for high and low beams.

hi/lo kits are $69 plus shipping so I'd say around $85us to be safe.

Just remember to add %3 for PayPal fee as they charge it.

how do we want to set up the money thing?

I don't mind doing the financial thing, but I'd need the funds prior to ordering.

Once we have a set amount of people, I'll get an exact quote and PM everyone their total.

If that works, let me know!

There are discounts but I doubt we'll get 5 people to get hi/lo's tongue

If we do, I'll get the discounted rate.

6000k is PURE WHITE, 8000k is White with blue hint, 4300k is white with a yellowish tint (almost sotck looking).

I personally use 8000k on the Eclipse and 6000k on the TrailBlazer. Both are awesome.

Ok, so deadline will be Monday, June 8th 2009.

Tuesday I will get totals.

Friday, June 13th, I will place the order giving you ample time to transfer funds.

canadiangsx@cogeco.ca

For either PayPal or email transfer.

I will confirm receipt via email.

In the NOTES section, include your shipping address.

I will ship them out. I'm guessing around $10-12 to ship from K0C 2A0 to the GTA.

Can you get HID's for the fog light?

I'd want 3500k for them

for a 90?

if my research is right they are 880's but cant find the bulb type for certain.

Really guys, that many people wanting the 8000K setups? They offer less light output & the colour is annoying to other drivers. Real HID system use ~4300K, I wouldn't go with anything over 6000K, unless you like the rice look. I run 5000K, the light output is amazing & the colour output is perfect as it more closly resembles a real HID output, not someone trying to make it look like their car has real HID's by just using a colourful bulb.

Ok, so, on Monday, June 8th 2009, I will PM all parties involved their totals.

Shipping from me to the GTA (L5E 2M7 which is pretty much in the middle) will be $15 per package via Xpresspost 2nd day.

So your PM'd total will be broken down like this:

1- Total for the packages
2- Total for the shipping of the packages
3- 3% PayPal fee for the above
4- Total for shipping to you from me

All will be in Canadian Dollars at the bank exchange rate as of June 8th 2009.

Also, just tossing this out there, if someone wishes to save some shipping for everyone in the GTA, I am willing to meet in Kingston for $40 to cover my gas. It will then be their responsability to distribute the kits.

Louis, another option is for you to hold on to the packages until the Invasion date. By the time we place the orders, and the orders get here from Japan, it might be a 1 - 1.5 week wait before the Invasion. That way people can save on the shipping and we can all install our HIDs at Cayuga when we get there.

That way it will save some bucks. It's what I will be doing preferably over the shipping!

Some people are probably slightly more impatient. ahaha.

Hmmmmmmm... I will not be committing 100% until I see some pricing. By the look of it, it may be cheaper for me to just order the kit myself and have it shipped to my door. That way I'm only paying for shipping once.

I totally agree with you Mark, I don't mind getting the items shipped to me but I'm not biting the bullet on in-country shipping smile

Brandon makes a good point too. I can bring them to the Invasion as long as people can wait until then

Manuel, most guys with a seperate bulb for low & high normally just get the low kits. The lows alone will be much brighter then your stocker, I know most (myself included) barely ever bother to use my high beams anymore, as their not needed. Another concern is if your lows goes out when your highs turn on, HID's have a delay before they ignite & then take about 20-30 seconds to get up to proper colour temp. Defently not a good idea as thier may be times when you see no light output.

It will then be their responsability to distribute the kits.

what about customs and brokerage fees .. ur definately going to get hit with those especially with a big shipment

good luck

Replacement bulbs are $6US. How frequently do these need replacing? Is it worth buying a spare set now? Are they more fragile than halogen bulbs?

They last for 3000 - 4000 hours if usage apparently. The website just says >3000.

I also know when installing, don't put your fingers on the bulb at all. They are hotter than regular halogens and the oil from your fingers can ruin the bulb easier on a hid bulb.

Do they have fog lights hids available?

Also roughly how much are they going to be Canadian? I'm probably going to want a set of h4s
