Really guys, that many people wanting the 8000K setups? They offer less light output & the colour is annoying to other drivers. Real HID system use ~4300K, I wouldn't go with anything over 6000K, unless you like the rice look. I run 5000K, the light output is amazing & the colour output is perfect as it more closly resembles a real HID output, not someone trying to make it look like their car has real HID's by just using a colourful bulb.

Ok, so, on Monday, June 8th 2009, I will PM all parties involved their totals.
Shipping from me to the GTA (L5E 2M7 which is pretty much in the middle) will be $15 per package via Xpresspost 2nd day.
So your PM'd total will be broken down like this:
1- Total for the packages 2- Total for the shipping of the packages 3- 3% PayPal fee for the above 4- Total for shipping to you from me
All will be in Canadian Dollars at the bank exchange rate as of June 8th 2009.
Also, just tossing this out there, if someone wishes to save some shipping for everyone in the GTA, I am willing to meet in Kingston for $40 to cover my gas. It will then be their responsability to distribute the kits.

Louis, another option is for you to hold on to the packages until the Invasion date. By the time we place the orders, and the orders get here from Japan, it might be a 1 - 1.5 week wait before the Invasion. That way people can save on the shipping and we can all install our HIDs at Cayuga when we get there.
That way it will save some bucks. It's what I will be doing preferably over the shipping!
Some people are probably slightly more impatient. ahaha.

I am in for that, I think my car takes two kits??? My hi's are one bulb and my low's are another bulb.
-Manuel Manuel, most guys with a seperate bulb for low & high normally just get the low kits. The lows alone will be much brighter then your stocker, I know most (myself included) barely ever bother to use my high beams anymore, as their not needed. Another concern is if your lows goes out when your highs turn on, HID's have a delay before they ignite & then take about 20-30 seconds to get up to proper colour temp. Defently not a good idea as thier may be times when you see no light output.

I also know when installing, don't put your fingers on the bulb at all. They are hotter than regular halogens and the oil from your fingers can ruin the bulb easier on a hid bulb.

From VVME discussion:
************** for single beam kit ,$47each bi-xenon kit $79 each yes ,all price shipping included this is our updated lower price
In additional ,items will be shipped by DHL /carrier ,which only 2-4 to arrive . we'll declare it gift or sample with a very low value.,so you can avoid tax or VAT. All products 14 month warranty .
***************
Canadian Pricing as of TODAY:
Single Beam Kit $56 +3% PayPal fee ($1.68) Bi-Xenon (Hi/Lo) $91 +3% PayPal fee ($2.73)
The low value as gift is good but the package total will incur $5-$7 duty fee per kit so lets call it $6. (I contacted a broker friend of mine here to confirm this)
The totals including possible duty AND PayPal fees are:
Single Beak Kit $63.68 Bi-Xenon (Hi/Lo) $99.73
If they do NOT charge is the duty, this amount will be FULLY refunded as I do not want to make ANY money on this at all. I'm just coordinating it.
I will scan/post all paperwork once I receive it for all to see along with all PayPal transactions from ME to VVME.

Sunday, I will post the current price seeing as our dollar seems to be getting stronger That last price will be the price. I would like to place the order on Wednesday (I know I said Friday) if that's ok with everyone. Otherwise, Friday the order will be placed. This is the current list: (People that do not update what they want will NOT be ordered as I'm no psychic.) I just want to be clear on something here, there is no real savings with this group buy..... The regular price is $52us shipped + PayPal fee. The whole point of this buy is to simplify it but obviously there will be complications regarding delivery from me to you, if you're NOT going to the invasion. I need to know by TOMORROW, SATURDAY JUNE 6th 2009, if you prefer doing it by yourself to get it shipped ONCE to your door or if you can hold off until the invasion for me to bring them. Obviously, I won't ship kits from Cornwall to the GTA on my coin and you will find yourself double charged for shipping. Remember, you are not really saving anything here...well...$6 I'm just trying to help out.

It is probably best that I back out to, seeing as you would have the hassle to ship my package to alberta. Thanks, for all effort and thought Louis.

For everyone's info. The kits were as follows: $50us for single kits ($65cdn) $82us for the hi/lo kits ($94.30cdn) $10us ($11.50cdn) for Jay's "Special" color Basically they waived the PayPal fees so we could keep close to the original 11-20 pricing. They also advised that everything will ship out as soon as it is marked "cleared" by PayPal which per PayPal is 3-5 days. I'll keep this posted with all info!
