Found out why, My moms card was red-flagged about a month ago and I guess they didn't feel like putting all of her settings back to the way they were. Sent them a new message and having it returned to the previous daily limit. If the money isn't sent by 8:00am tomorrow morning Brian then I guess just go ahead without me.

I just got my ecu in the mail!! I'm very excited! If you guys need one still, I got mine from www.car-part.com. Its a database of all the wreckers. I paid like $135 shipped tax in to my door. now just to get it socketed..

I found a guy in ottawa that will socket the ecu's but he wants $50 each. He tunes all the honda ecus in ottawa. Anyways Im going to get mine done by him cause hes close and I wont have to bother shipping, but Im not sure its worth it sending it back and forth for you toronto guys.

I'm sending 2 ECUs out to them on wednesday probably, let me know if you want to tag yours along, were getting a discount on 1G Eprom coversion, but I doubt there will be a discount on socketing, as its just time involved

For the guys looking for someone to socket their ecu, just make sure the place you descide to go to is reputable as I've seen lots of hack jobs by guys that were supposed to know what their doing. I could have socketed my own (do work with electronics) but I wanted Dave (ECMLink) to check the ecu all out (he can test it all on his bench) & make sure it was 100% before I ran it. The service was quick & the work was top notch (being I know what good soldering work looks like of course I had to inspect it). Plus they can also replace your caps as it sounds like their starting to go on 2g ecu's now.....

Also, from what I have heard, the 2g ecu is a lot more "delicate" than the 1g. I would think twice about who I let work on a 2g ecu....

As I said earlier.
I tried my own.. I have soldered on smaller electronics so figured the large points on an ecu would be fine.
I ended up ruining my ecu, sent it to ECM Tuning and the repair was 156 US to fix. (after shipping it was close to 200).
That could have been saved if I would have just sent it in the first time for only 30 dollars.
But their work is AMAZING. The repaired traces look like they were done by a robot. Some incredibly precise work.
