On the other hand, when I was putting my car back into normal mode yesterday (changing tires, fixing the boost leak, etc.), I noticed a wire broken on the VPC temp sensor. I remember when that happened last year, I got stuck right around the mid 11 second range. This time around with a huge boost leak and broken wire at the sensor, I was stuck around the high 10 second range. Again, not bad at all. I guess the 9:1 compression really made up for the rest of it I'd like to say this, Reza: Thank you for breaking your car in multiple ways, so that I had a fighting chance in hell of running close to you.

LOL. That took longer than I thought. If you had felt the "lag" between shifts I was getting, you'd know why.
I'm pretty sure I've fixed it now.
BTW: You know of anyone else that needed race gas to run an 11 that day? I'm pretty sure Reza ran his 10s on pump even...
Now, I'll have all kinds of time to talk about DSMs, because I won't be busy fixing mine!

You've always had that lag between shifts. I've just started to have it happen. Ie: it made me slower.
I know of one guy there that was running 32psi to get some 13s.
Btw: my 12.4 was WITHOUT race and WITHOUT meth. Sucka.

Was the hassle/cost of adding that "bolt on" turbo worth 3 tenths? You still can't drive. I need more practice. Remember, that was my first day using the stutterbox/NLTS in almost 1.5 yrs. By the end of the day, I had cut 2 tenths off my 60' time. The exhaust manifold gasket had me in the 106mph range and 13s by then, though.

Best on 16G: 12.5 Best on 20G: 12.2 I think you need to go back to math class. I have no 11 second slips. I also don't have any slips that required gas I can't get at any gas station. It's gonna be a LOOOOONNNGG winter, isn't it?

Funniest part of the day... Steve and I are tech'ed first. So Steve says, come on let's go! And all I can think of is that this first race will set the tone for the whole day...meaning if I lose, it's gonna be a miserable day. Steve is the best at mental mindf@cks. He always messes with me mentally...psyches me out. So thank GOD I won that race It will be a long winter. I encourage Steve all the time: To clean up the car make it look pretty and to run 11's 11.9x would be just fine

Wish I could have knocked 4 seconds off my first run! The sawzall mod was awesome, Tyler! The sound of an open DP like that brought back memories of an old guy (Brett TerSmitte) and his "Millenium Falcon". (Fastest hunk of junk in the galaxy!) I've noticed in some pics of your launches that there seems to be a fair bit of tire smoke from the front wheels (For an AWD car) so I think you might be right about the VC.
