Darren, that's ridiculously clean. Almost as clean as your car's underside... which is scary on it's own.

Well I have seen his car twice and I thought that everyone knew by now how clean it was, yet it continues to suprise everyone. Props to that tu
Typically a car gets dirtier and older with everyday, yet somehow Daren's gets increasingly cleaner and newer. Now that its AWD, the only reason I am not jelous of your car is because it is not black laugh

Thanks guys, that was just after a quick clean (not as thorough as I'd like to do, but don't have the time I use too). Try to keep it in "like new" condition but you can see some wear over the past 6+ years of summer driving, as the car was like new when I got it, with 19K on it.

Well now that I am back in my stomping grounds I decided to start working on my beast again. Aquired a house in London with a 3 car garage so slowly I am getting everything set up and working on the car for next year.

I installed a fluidyne rad and a Taylor battery relocate kit. A built 6-bolt with a stock second gen head. Magnus intake, front mount. Hahn 16G kit. Stock cams and all that. Netted 330awhp and 343awtq. 17 psi. I have a header to put on, a meth kit I will experiment with. Exedy twin disk so I can shift again smile (I hate ACT). A jay racing alternator relocate kit. HKS 272's and a few other trinkets. at around 25 psi im hoping for over 400 whp.

The car was good for a high-mid 12 second quarter mile two years ago, couldnt shift thanks to my dragging clutch. Also passed an e-test with no EVAP, EGR or cat smile It felt nice to get back in it because it had been so long. I have the fever again, and the only perscription is more cowbell, so more cowbell there will be smile

I am definately changing the interior, the tan leather is not doing it for me anymore haha. I should clean up the engine someday, its been sitting in storage for a while but it fired right up and drove a couple hours without a problem smile

That is such a beautiful car, what track is that? Those are 5 zigen FN01R wheels (or whatever they call them) correct? Fitment is absolutely awesome.

Looks good.

A wire tuck and matching plug wires would make a BIG difference.

It is a MAPerformance fully built 2.3 stroker with their heavy duty rods and Wiseco pistons. Completely ported head with BC 280 cams and a crower spring / retainer kit and a ceramic coating package. ACT 2600 and a FP 20g turbo.

And trust me, there is not one rusted bolt in that engine bay. If you look closely you might find a scratch, but thats about it.

I was considering doing that (nightshades I assume) to the ambers(rear turn signals) of my tailights. But I figured I would get some hassle for it. Never get stopped by the law?

Yup, the leather seats are a pain but I lock my seat-belt with arm and shoulder out, then it's nice and tight when I put my arm and shoulder back in. Not the best but it'll have to do until I put a race seat in.

@Alex, thanks dude. No paparazzi following me but luckily, the events I go to always have either an official photographer or there's enough photo enthusiasts that post the pictures they take.

It's been a busy month! Here's some pics from last weekend in Picton:

Hey Ryan, How'd you mount your license plate? Did you just drill into the bumper?

Now that I got my bumper painted, I want to get rid of that ugly bracket I have and want a more clean look.

Mike, I felt the same way so I drilled and tapped my bumper to accept two M6 bolts. Just be careful not to torque them too much. Spring washers help.

Hmm.. I was thinking of the mount that is used on the Evo's. Pretty sure theres a bracket that goes in the air duct hole, and then bolts to something behind the bumper.

Hard to tell from just looking at pictures online.

Ryan, did you win anything? My buddy Steve was there, and he was supposed to win Best VW.... he got the trophy and cash, but the judges realized they made a mistake, and took it all back.

Shitty part was, the guy who won best VW owned an Audi and won the best VW/Audi class.

hey ryan, yeah i ended up winning third place for the Baddest Eclipse of 2009.. and thats some shitty luck about the award your friend got, the judging at the event was a little sketchy! Didnt exactly seem to organized tongue

and cody.. heres a few shots of the seats inside the car!
they are coming out this winter when i store it if anybody is interested.. they are the 30th or 40th anniversary SRD's. Pretty rare but they rub against the door everytime you close it and they sit extremely high.. id rather have comfort then looks.
