Well Kevin K(mastah toonah), Helder, Helber, Paul P, myself and wifey went out for a day of t&t at Cayuga today. I'll get my story over with first: First time I tried Q16. Put the slicks on at the track and went to tech. Tech guy recognizes my car and asks me how fast is it running now ? I tell him I dunno maybe high 11, 10's maybe, even though he has seen me go faster. He warns me he's keeping an eye on me and if I even think about it he's booting me, and not to come back without a cage Ok so I spent about an hour going over my car, cranked the boost up to 39 psi, put slicks at 15 psi, cranked the timing to over the moon and a few other tweaks, and went for a tuning pass. I usually do this just to do a log, before I go for a full blast pass. This way I would do a shitty et and won't get booted, while getting to tune the car. Rolled out on first gear nice and easy. Top of 2nd I hammered it, lit it up right thru 2nd, NLTS 3rd, lit up the slicks COMPLETELY thru 3rd while going sideways. I almost kissed the wall, then got back in it in 4th to see the boost , before almost going into the other lane. Holy sh!t! Came around and I got the BOOT! , and my wife says I am not racing ANYMORE till I got full cage, jacket, driveshaft loops, scatter shield etc. etc. etc. Thats it for me folks! See you next year. Lets concentrate on 16g power now! Now onto Helder. He came out in his Auto 16g powered 92 tsi awd. PUMP and METH only. 28 psi. STOCK BLOCK! FULL weight and NO TRACTION, just like me His runs went : 11.363@120.43 12.220@120.18 11.912@120.03 12.43@118.47 11.644@120.24 11.607@120.03 11.554@120.68 11.486@120.68 11.506@121.58 11.578@121.43 and his best pass of the day: 11.202@122.60 MPH I'd like to personally congratulate him as he has tried hard and well deserves it. Car is daily driven with full weight, and the real thing here is look at the mph, exactly what a 16g full weight car should be. Car has WAAAAY more in it and we will be back next week to blast it into the 10's. His 60 fts were sh!t, and he could not get off the line nicely enough. THE NEW BADDEST & FASTEST 16G DSM IN CANADA! I held it for two years, and Helder just comes and snatches it away. Its not over yet folks, his car has more in it! This sh!t will be posted everywhere like WILDFIRE!!!!!!!!!!! THIS WILL BE ON TUNERS! WELL FUCKIN DESERVED HELDER, and way to blow the title right out of the water. 10's here we come! All of this was TOONED by the master tuner KEVIN K himself, so big props to him. I have slips and videos I'll put up, maybe not videos of the best passes , but I give credit to my wife for hanging around all day and getting videos of what she could. Since its the end of the year I'd like to congratulate a few bad ass cars: Team CANADA PUMP GAS/METH & STOCK BLOCKS! Kevin K (Pioneer of meth injection) Helder D (fastest 16g DSM in Canada!) Reza Mirza (10 second pump/meth powered beast) Tim G (No one else rolls around with 40psi on the streets on pump/meth) Jamal Qazi (One badd 12 sec meth injected sleeper) If I'm missing anyone else please feel free to jump in! We will be back next week

After that pull, I will spend the couple grand on safety now All I can say is Q16+39psi+FP3065+rza tune = To the MOON! I was sooo disappointed to see his car only run low 11's. It should be well in the 10's. Pull up your sleeves and let those tricks out next weekend. I want to see this beast in the 10's! Make sure he updates his spot to # 1 on TOONERS, cuz you know how much that matters Tell him to put this up on dsmlink forums too! Now quite a few websites will definately need some updating

Well done, well done. 16G's are stepping up to the plate, good to see people maximizing the potential rather than just slapping on a big spool and running 12's. Not to take anything away from the accomplishments, but Nate did run a 127mph pass, I think at this time Nate would be the fastest, and Helder the low ET holder?
Either way congrats to both Helder/Kevin/Reza crew, and Nate and the Forcepower crew.

Wow, great to see CA DSM to hold some records, and maybe now the "Automatics" club can take less heat. Helder, congrats man, you did it, you deserve the recognition. I'm sure this leaves a sour taste in the mouth of some! See you all next year!

I am not about to congratulate this clown. Maybe if he PAID for some of the parts he did this with! In my mind, this guy is a THIEF, and I will be sure to post THAT wherever I see this accomplishment listed! If you can afford to go fast, you can afford the couple hundred bucks you owe.
He is POS in my opinion!

I totally understand your opinion with Helder Ziggy. Apart from it being Helder's car, Kevin did tune it with a few tips and tricks from the crew as we wanted to show how easy it is to break a measily sheasly record. You know I could have slapped the 16g you gave me in my car and gone for the record, but I decided not to go backwards as I was already much faster.
On a side note, I think we are going to get his in the 10's. Once it is, I may take a shot at the 16g title next year just for shits and giggles, and to take the title back.
As mentioned I think there is definately some recognition that this was done on pump/meth on a very basic tune, similar to my setup years back except auto.

I am not questioning the accomplishment, but in my opinion this was done on STOLEN parts, and I certainly wouldn't be bragging about it...
I am actually disappointed that any of you guys still have anything to do with him. I would worry about his attitude rubbing off on me. I still remember what I was taught as a child: tell me WHO your friends are, and I will tell you WHAT you are. If you hang out with crooks, you risk becoming a crook!
Guess I am going to have to sign up on a lot more forums to make sure that everyone know this accomplishment was by a THIEF!!

Yes I have a time slip for each and every pass, and a few videos. I actually have a life and a 9-5 job, make a decent income, and don't have time right now to run home and scan all this sh!t up this instant It's Monday morning. I'm not sitting at home in front of the computer waiting for a 16g time slip to be posted because thats all my life is about, lol. Jeez Once I put them up they will still be in denial. Kind of like how my car was running mid 11's back in 2007 and they thought they were the fastest 16g with mid 12's. Oh brother! I think I need to start making some T shirts : Any suggestions ?

I don't think a record should count if it is done on "stolen" parts...
Also, there is all this mention of recognition for ca.dsm.org....was this clown not BOOTED from here?? I was wondering why he hadnt responded HAHA That answers my question. Thanks Ziggy!!

Since its the end of the year I'd like to congratulate a few bad ass cars: Team CANADA PUMP GAS/METH & STOCK BLOCKS! Kevin K (Pioneer of meth injection) Helder D (fastest 16g DSM in Canada!) Reza Mirza (10 second pump/meth powered beast) Tim G (No one else rolls around with 40psi on the streets on pump/meth) Jamal Qazi (One badd 12 sec meth injected sleeper)
I see it now! We should make some TPGC(Team Pump Gas Canada) - appearal. Who's down for a shirt? Please PM me with size and colour As much as I don't want to get involved in these events, this is really funny sh!t. Honestly, is no one really pumped up for next season? As of last week, I had minor plans for next year... right now I'm getting all these crazy thoughts. Are we really gonna do this, guys? Do we really need to go faster? If you are all thinking what I'm thinking, then this 16G business is just a prelude to the damage this bitter rivalry will cause when the big boys stage up and really step on the gas!

Here's the best slip, just scanned it at work. I'll post all other 10 slips tonight along with the pics and videos we got. Actually he did run more than 11 times in total. I figured 10 should be enough I am definately pumped for next season. Since yesterday I have been thinking about turning the beast into an all out drag car/trailor queen and shoot right for 9's. I just love the way my car performs when it is in kill mode, with slicks on. Maybe I will turn the other talon into a street beast.

Looks like I'll be putting safety equipment into my streetcar, so we can keep the rivally going in full-swing Ziggy, I'll need a price on a set of slicks, and Fai, I'll be needing a set of light-weight 15s for the spring Group buy! I already got a price from Ziggy. I'm gonna pull the trigger sometime between now and April. I also need a roll bar in the car now. FML.

Why not.....we did this a while back, but i think Helder and Helber were the only two to go through with it then. If I remember correctly, the cage came all pre cut into sections, but needed to be all welded together as it was installed. As a result, they were not that bad to pick up. We even went down there in HELDER's pickup truck to go get them, LOL. Not sure if that is one of the items he still hasn't paid me for or not....
Anyways, I still have the info on the place they came from, could look into it.
The slicks, if there is going to be a few more guys gettting them, I would also see if I can maybe do a slightly better price than I quoted Tim. Not promising, and it also depends on where the dollar goes....but you guys know I always do what I can..

Are these 6 point cages Ziggy ?
On a side note, I hear Forcepower claims that I am photoshoping the timeslips. Well I guess I have another 10 more to photoshop by tonight.
I'm gonna have to photoshop the videos too. Gee I wonder how I am gonna do that.
In my DSM life, I have never seen a shop CRY SO MUCH when they get beat. WOW COMPLETE UTTERLESS DENIAL!!!!
They claim they are soo badass, everytime someone goes fast , they claim photoshop!
I remember they claimed I doctored my 11.7 video on the 16g.
I love it. THEY TRULY POWNED THEMSELVES!

They had a few different versions of cages to choose from....and in different materials... I think there was mild steel welded tube, DOM tube, and Chromoly tube, all at different price points.
I will see what i can dig up...

As much as Forcepower disturbes me, I still give credit where credit is due.
Doing 11.2 on a stock block, pump gas 16G is fantastic work! On an automatic makes it even better.
Doing 11's on a 16G is still epic none the less. I give credit to Helder for (Ziggy... PLEASE don't jump down my throat) having the fastest Canadian 16G car, I give credit to Nate for having the fastest Canadian 16G car (even though he was beat out), I give credit to Reza for having the fastest Canadian 16G car (even though he was beat out). Congrats to all of you.
Whether you did it on stock block, or not, it's still impressive. Look at Strictly Modified's 2G Talon 16G running 10's! Sure everything is built to the tits, but still a 16G running 10's.
Congrats to them, and congrats to all of you. It's not whether you win by an inch or a mile, winning's winning.
In the end, we're all DSMer's. Whether you wrench in a nice cozy shop in Southern Ontario or in an attached garage in Toronto, it's still on a DSM, and we all have a common goal at heart. It's the love of these cars that drives us, and the passion that motivates us.

No less impressive were his (according to the track announcer) 12 second reaction times! It's funny because I know how he feels.

12's is too too easy Ian. You don't even need a FMIC for 12's. I am uploading about 10 videos, files are HUGE, and its only about half way done....

We will be back next week I am still a Canadian. I have a stock block on pump and meth and this slip was photo shopped. And if I can get my water pump replaced by the weekend I'll be photo shopping myself an even better slip. My car is also tuned by Kevin via email.

Ohh man sorry Todd. How could I leave you out! I knew I was forgetting a few. Your all the way in Kentucky, please forgive me... TPGC and STOCK BLOCK! : Todd Meunier (Fastest Canadian 10 sec pump/meth DSM, in USA!) I know theres more... Dude that slip looks photo chopped as hell. No video, that means you didn't do it Its the new thing Todd, you need video, must make a post about it, must discuss mods, and tell everyone your secrets for us to believe you. It's not about the slip no more, apparently.

Well I guess we all know who is NOT the fastest 16g in Canada anymore, so I decided to do a little "trolling" around to see how my favourite haters have taken it. I would like to point out to any possible Forcepower customers that even though they still claim to be the fastest, which they still claim on their website, they are not If a shop can outright lie about that, trust me you do not want your DSM there. I never seen a shop soo jelous and heart broken over having a stupid record broken, that they can't accept the fact that they can't claim it no more. This is not bickering, this is not BS, it is a FACT! Team pump gas will head back this weekend and hunt for 10's. Thanks for the inspiration!

I still prefer "Ryan La-Douchebag" better. That's a classic. Chiming in a little late on this one, but I like "Ryan Lalibergay." It's always been a good one in my books. As for the fastest 16g in Canada, to all those who hold, and held the record, hats off to you! Regardless of who holds it, and all bickering aside, it's impressive to get that turbo to those numbers.

Nope, they usually do that at Cayuga. I have many slips from my car and they screw up the number. Donkey, go look at the pic of helders car, the 826 looks like an 820. Now go back in hiding. We already knew that, and if I really photoshopped it I would have fixed that up You know what the funny thing is. You and your buddies call photoshop on everything Team pump gas has accomplished in the last few years, I'm really starting to think that photochopping is what YOU guys really do to all your fake slips! OH AND TRY A LITTLE HARDER. I'm actually glad you posted. Proves how JEALOUS you and your buddies are. Suck it up and move along. Is the whole gang watching right now ? Don't you just love "THE MOUTH"! You boys must be having SERIOUS nightmares of Helders car I cannot tell you how many members here have actually come out and seen our cars perform. We don't need to cater to Force nuttin.

Let's analize the 11.3 run vs the 11.2 run... 826 820 60' 1.701 1.755 330 4.730 4.758 1/8 7.294 7.263 MPH 96.47 98.87 1000 9.498 9.419 1/4 11.363 11.202 MPH 120.43 122.60 Now that would look like the same car to me! Like come on, there is no way 2 different cars could produce those timeslips. Even more outrageous is the fact anyone would think we're that obsesssed that we would actually run down a stranger at the track and ask them if we could have their slip,

You know what the funny thing is that I didn't want to mention until Nick spoke up. I noticed when my record was broken, they had to completely gut out Nathan's car to manage a 120MPH. I mean COMPLETELY GUT out, to squeeze a 120. Now all of a sudden the car weighs 3400 lbs and traps 127 mph. So basically they threw all that weight back in the car and went faster. BS. If you read my very first post in this thread I noted that. Around 120mph is exactly what a 16g does with full weight. No pics of Nathan's engine bay and interior ? Sorry NO PROOF. I bet the guy doesn't even have a 16g, probably a bigger turbo or wheel in it. I think they call BS soo much, that they are the ones really bullshiting since it matters soo much to have the record. I love how they still can't even admit it Kevin, I'm glad you pointed out on tuners yesterday that they are going 127mph in a full weight talon, with no proof of weight or pics of the turbo, making more power than Curt Brown. I'm pretty sure Curt went mid 10's on the 16g in a 2600lb car. I will be the first to call out BIG BS on Forcepower. If they are going to this extent and HURTING soo much that Helder blew them right out of the water, common sense tells me that they have no other choice than to do anything possible to keep the title. Basically lie about everything and their mods. BS.

Well, 2 things... 1. Congrats to you guys.....Nate as well, for howerver short it lasted 2. Personally if I wanted to disprove something and call BS, I wouldn't wait 18hrs to do so...or maybe that's how long some people stare at thread and pictures and FINALLY find something that doesn't jive. Just remember that the car number is entered manually by whoever is up there...the rear number is clearly 826 but the side number could VERY EASILY be made 820...but you knew that already. Anyway that's the extent of my involvement in this...I've got other forums to go stare at in hope to stir sh!t up and I've only got 17hrs 50min to do so seeing as it took me 10 minutes to type this and I type sloooooooooowwwwwwwwww.

Thanks for noticing and pointing that out Louis If you have raced enough at Cayuga, you would know that too. Look at the over 150 timeslips in my hand (actually you can't even see my hand) from over 10 years of racing at Cayuga. I can easily prove that , but don't feel the need to. Look at the top slip. Mark PPG vs. Me. That was the only time I ever raced at St. Thomas.

You ran 14.40@100.93 and I ran 12.38@80.47 right, or was it 23.88@38.45 to my 11.07@131.95 ? I know one of them was Tim Grech I forgot the run right after the botched launch. You can't dwell on bad runs. Especially if it's the first time out all season. My question is, why only an 11, Mr. Slicks?

There's talks of going to St Thomas. If its done in their face, then theres really nothing they can say to deny that it happened. Stay tuned folks. I sense "retreat" "retreat" by our friends now. It hard to cover up lies Its ok :), we'll continue the fastest 16g DSM in Canada saga from here. As of now I will claim I was the fastest from 2007 till now, and Helder took it from me. Sorry no proof, what else can I do. They cried so much about doctoring and proof and they got busted. I know they're reading this, and if so, please go back to your board and cry there. This is my thread afterall Sincerely "THE MOUTH"

Just my opinion, but this whole fastest 16G thing is kind of a Mickey Mouse goal for a "shop". When I think of a race shop, I think of guys like Marco running 8's and building motors for Brent's 6 second car. I think of shops like Titan and AMS.
By all means, I think it's great when an enthusiast like Reza chases down a record like that on a shoe-string budget compared to a race shop. For a shop to go after a 16G record pass is a little weak.
The other problem is that there are all kinds of permutations of 16Gs, race weights (gutted vs. street trim), tires, race gas, etc. to factor in. It's really hard to compare apples with apples. It like saying, I'm the fastest black AWD Talon with an Eclipse conversion, a Green turbo, a hood vent, a smoothed hatch, with a stain on the carpet behind the drivers seat in the UNIVERSE!

Just my opinion, but this whole fastest 16G thing is kind of a Mickey Mouse goal for a "shop". When I think of a race shop, I think of guys like Marco running 8's and building motors for Brent's 6 second car. I think of shops like Titan and AMS. You know I always thought the same. Thanks for bringing that up Michael. Magnus, Shep, Titan, AMS and the other top shops really take the cake and they are humble about it! Not this one who claims to be the fastest 16g in the World no matter what. Right on! Your right I am a home brewed DSM mechanic who does things on a tight budget. No where even near the Big guys. This other shop is not part of the BIG guys. Thats why they like to compete with little guys like me

Glad your enjoying it Neil. Kevin has tuned quite a lot of cars around town now, and they have put down some very decent #'s at the track over the years. Even I go to Kevin when I have some questions, especially about ecmlink. If your popcorn is done, I'll request the concession stand to give you a free refill with some extra butter

I just had to delete the last 6 posts for being off topics and/or stupid. FFS guys, this is getting pretty lame. Everyone step away from the keyboards and drink some beer. Please keep it on topic to the car, the times, etc.

Everyone step away from the keyboards and drink some beer. I don't always drink beer, but when I do, I prefer Dos Equis. Feel free to lock this up if you wish Jeff...

We will be back next week Not on a stock block but went 9.8@150 on good old E85 and no meth
1997 Talon (3250Lbs) Best Et 9.6 Best MPh 158 E85 no nitrous
