Once again, I am going to ask that people contact me either by email at: ziggy@rtmracing.com or by telephone at: 289-296-9780 and NOT by PM through this board.

At the moment, it is somewhat uncertain if I am going to continue to be a member of this board.

Thank you,
ziggy at RTM Racing

I'd certainly hope you would reconsider your decision to possibly leave the board, like Jay said, we need members like you. Certainly not afraid to offer your opinion, have a great knowledge of the car, and offer some excellent parts smile Nonetheless, though all of our dealings have been through PM, you'll still hear from me by other means smile

I would love to stay a member on this board....but not if the price of that is being part of the "collective" mentality. If the board is going to SPEAK for me and make apologies for me where i don't want them made...then the price is too high!

hmm....what did I miss?

I've only been dealing with Ziggy for a little while now, and haven't met him YET...emphasize YET.

That being said, I find that Mr Parts Slinger is one of the few that are not afraid to speak their minds. In today's day and age that is refreshing to see. Everybody is so freaking uptight making sure not to offend anyone for fear of a potential lawsuit for telling me to have a good day when I clearly am not so who are you to tell me what I should be having!

Now that was one long run on sentence!

Should his decision to leave be final, that should be respected...I personally will not stop dealing with him and am sure I speak for most of us as well. Please don't sue me for that last comment! laugh

Thanks guys....ONE MORE TIME.....

PLEASE DO NOT PM ME HERE....

Please contact me by email or telephone or through my webstore.

Also, on a somewhat related note, can anyone here who also has a membership on the Southern Ontario or whatever they are called board (the FP board) tell me please whether the apology made there by one of our members who took it upon himself to speak for the entire board has been retracted yet???

You do not need to be a member of the FP forum to browse the boards yourself. The apology was not retracted and I very highly doubt that it ever will be. It was issued on behalf of "some of the non-vocal members" of Club DSM... I don't think you fall into that category. You're quite vocal. Nevertheless, kind of a dumb reason to leave this board.

The link doesn't work for me, but I accept Tim's word that the apology on behalf of every club member (or at least on my behalf) has been retracted.

We are all entitled to our own opinions, and everyone is free to apologize for themselves, but I would NOT like anyone speaking for me, especially without consulting me first.

I hope you understand, Tim. I KNOW how those guys over there feel about me. They CONSTANTLY make slanderous statements about me. Fact is, THEY started this mud slinging about 5 years ago. Let's just say it will be a very cold day in hell with pigs flying overhead when I apologize to THEM....

thanks again.

Tyler, if you missed it, basically Tim is trying to mend fences in the DSM community, an admirable goal, and joined the Force Power bulletin board. Problem is, he apologized over there, apparently on behalf of all the members of this board, for some of the "name calling" and BS that has gone on. Fact is, though, all this crap ORIGINATED over there..and I strongly resented having someone apologize on MY behalf when I don't believe I have done anything that needs to be apologized for. I was simpy saying that if it was a requirement for membership in this board that someone apologizes on my behalf in spite of my desire otherwise, then the cost of membership was too high and I wanted to withdraw from membership in this board. If the apology, at least on my behalf, has been retracted, then all is fine as far as I am concerned....

Tim, did you still want this larson hose kit and the AEM Orings. the last PM I sent I got no response to (though it was read), and I have no current address on file for you...

I will confirm for you that Tim made a separate thread on the FP board and did retract the apology on your behalf. The link is not working anymore because it appears that the thread has since been deleted spy

I caught it too before it was deleted.

Seems Tim even caught some grief about it from the local members.

Thanks, guys. There are cheap exhaust systems there from Megan Racing....just no SUPER cheap exhausts for 1g. The companies just don't make them...guess there are not enough 1g's left around...

Glad you like the store:) We are still figuring out the new software, and we still have a couple issues, but then we will be getting back to adding more product:)

Store really does look good. Pretty easy to navigate and things seem pretty well organized and isn't hard on the eyes to browse through.

Oooooooooooo'...upgraded the online shop eh Ziggy?

Nice!

Good move and welcome to the 21st century! wink

Haha just kidding. tongue

It's a billion times faster and much easier to navigate.

I'm sure this will actually benefit your sales.

Believe it or not many people leave websites because of speed or lack thereof.

Cheers!

I'm pretty positive he takes paypal? I remember being offered that option once, but always opted for interac email money transfers (which he also prefers). Roman, look into that, especially if you're with one of the "big 5" banks: BMO, Scotia, RBC, TD, CIBC.

yes, I CAN take paypal, but not through the site, because not at the advertised prices. Paypal charges me horrible fees, so I have to pass them on to you.

The store ONLY takes credit card, but I actually PREFER EMT....

You can shop in the store, then contact me by email with your list, and I will give you a price including shipping, taxes, and paypal fees....

While people are talking about money transfer. With TD to TD transactions you can do it for free if you have the persons account number. Could save people 1.50 each time, Assuming Ziggy has TD.

Yeah but I believe it's only a bank to bank thing and I just have my debit set up on pay-pal to instantly transfer it as it's commonly used. Great to hear that you got Pay-pal Ziggy! I don't mind the fee's and will be in contact with you in the future as i need quite a bit of OEM parts for my Talon :[
