Im currently doing a 6bolt swap, and one of the threads states that im suppose to use a 2g starter and 2g starter spacer plate. Why cant i just use the 1g spacer plate? I was also reading that you need to adapt the 2g spacer plate anyway.

I think it's because the plate has to match the transmission, since the starter goes through it.

I think if you actually got to work on it, you'd realize a lot of your questions would be answered with some generic logic.
