I am in desperate need of 1996 Eagle talon passenger side rear, rebuild.

Does anyone know who rebuilds shafts close to toronto.

My problem is the threads on the end are ruined from a recent owner trying to release the hub.

I either need it sleeved or replaced.

HELP PLEASE!!

Most places don't bother with rebuilds anymore because new aftermarket are cheap.

Maybe try Japan Auto Parts. I've bought Subie axles for cheap from them:

Drive Products @ 1665, Shawson Drive, Mississauga, ON. They don't have the boot for that "Lebore joint" (sp) so keep it in good condition, but they can rebuild it along with the rest but you should bring them a new yoke & u-joint for the t-case, and ask them to replace the rest of the U-joints & balance, you might want to supply your own u-joints aswell cause you never know what product they will use, I think they use precision joints - mostly...

800-668-6012 ask for service, its a busy place there be patient, your best to show up with everything and hope for the best, ie, one week turn around most likley.

These guys made my custom axles for my AWD Spyder. The fronts use 3000GT inner and outter joints. The rears still use the stock inners with custom beefer outters. They also built with them (rears) with ABS rings where most like Raxles do not.

Customer service at A1 CVTech is amazing as well!!

These guys will not do rear axles.

Talked to Marco the owner of A1CVTech and he seemed like a genuine and super guy. They don't carry DSM rear axles but will rebuild your's with about 24 hours turnaround time. Said they specialize in high horsepower applications so rebuilds were routine work.

Yeap, I've dealt with Marco when I was doing my AWD swap. He's very promt and gets back to every email. Regarding the 24hr turnaround, that is indeed the case. There was an issue with my front driver's axles (about an inch too long due to the 3000GT inner and outter joint). I sent it back on a Monday afternoon and by Wednesday noon I had the replacement unit. Great customer service and they're in Quebec which means no duties, expensive shipping and currency exchange!!
