Hey all, it's about that time again to start planning for the best site you can see! DSMs upon DSMs upon DSMs! Time for us to take over the track!

I am thinking about the same destination as last year, Cayuga, and also thinking around the same time, mid July.

Do you think we should hold it later on in the year? Maybe late August / Early September (before school starts)?

Do you feel that the destination location should stay the same? Keep it at Cayuga?

Lets get some opinions on this, and go from there! Make it as big as it was last year or bigger! (even though I had something really bad happen and couldn't show up, I wish I could have and this year will be different!)

I say we do it a bit earlier while the weather is cooler, because it makes for better cruising and more comfortable to stand/sit around in. Also makes for better spool up!

Last year was lots of fun, looking forward to this years, possible even in my AWD!

More people need to actually race though... No point going to a track if only 5 of the 30 cars are racing.

Phew. Mid July scared me a bit. I have my Stag and Doe on the 16th, so I'd be in for either of those 2 dates, and since I'm not travelling so far... I'm SO in!

July 10th and July 24th are both Weekends. Does anyone know if those days are a Test and Tune? I've tried looking it up on the website but the navigation on the website is terrible.

I like those dates forsure, I think it gives everyone plenty of time to get their cars in proper working order! As long as those dates are good days for the track!

July 10th is Motorcycle Mayhem weekend (absolutely no cars allowed).

Then how about 17th and 24th? is the 17th bad for you Ryan or still OK ? we could aim for the 17th, and if it rains 24th can be the rain date?

17th will be recovery day from the 16th. 24th would be nice.

Does no one think it would be a smart idea to look at Cayuga's 2010 schedule BEFORE stepping up and picking dates? July 31 is Rich Christensen's Armdrop Live Challenge. In years past, getting a parking spot on this date is a problem.

I'm pretty much available for whenever, and I hope no one would mine me driving in my Lancer... I'm not 100% that I'll have insurance on my Talon (it's expensive to insure two cars!).
