I was suffering DSMTuners on Friday and I noticed that Slowboy was having a sale, since I'm in the market for a clutch I decided to check it out. What I found in the sale was ECMLink Lite.
I sent a msg to Marti and he wanted $329 shipped.

Well, that was too good to resist, thanks to the strong exchange rate and the fact that I had some money and my paypal, I only paid $300!

Needless to say I'm stoked, Lite will serve my needs perfectly. So now I'm on the look out for a socketed 2G EPROM ECU.

What else do I need?

lol.. that is definitely an impressive typo! You should be good to go with just a socketed EPROM. I'd recommend a wideband o2 sensor though, to truly make use of your new found tuning ability wink

I've got an AEM, I have to replace the sensor though because it's gone south.

Then you're set to go, as far as I know. When I installed link, I already had an EPROM ECU, just had to have it socketted, and I was golden. Shortly after I got the AEM wideband, and wired that to log in Link too. Good stuff right there wink

Make sure whoever sockets the ECU, sockets it with the right socket.

The socket that was on my Eprom was actually a socket # that was wrong for link, which was giving my ecu incorrect read outs

I vote ECM Tuning had mine pop a cap and an IC, sent it to them they replaced the socket in it with the proper one for the Link chip. The caps were replaced, IC 105 replaced board cleaned and tested, one day turnaround total cost 78.00 another 47.00 shipping both ways 125.00 total! Great service, fast and good price, these ECUs are old, mine was a 1G time takes a toll on them knowing thats its clean and tested is worth every penny and I don't have many extra. Just my $.02 John
