I'm a proud owner of a big 16g.

Before I install the turbo in my car, I'm a little worried I might get boost creep, anyone know where I can get a 34mm wastegate valve installed and the hole ported?

Thanx

If the engine is stock compression, doing a major port job on the O2 housing is all you should need.

That's what i did to mine, and with evreything else done ot the car, it would hold 10 psi to redline. (if i set it that low)

When i upped the compression, i got major boost creep. I ported the hole, and put in a 34mm flapper one night when i was bored. It didn't help. The valve and hole are larger, but it never gets open more thna half way. The trick was to shorten the arm that hte wastegate actuator pushes on so that the valve actually opens, and gets out of the way completely.

Port the O2, and shorten the arm and all will be fine.

Hey Nick, do you have any pics of the shortened actuator arm?

Stock the flap only opens 1/4 of full.

I have pics at home. You just cut a section out with a grinder, and weld it back together.

I made mine about 1/3 the length is was. Opens ALL the way now. Get no creep with it now, even on the 10:1s.
