From the Toronto Star Wheels section: Of course, after Japan’s long financial crisis during that decade, those 1990s cars are long gone but not forgotten. Now spoken in the same reverential manner nostalgic British sports car fans speak of MGs and Triumphs, here are my Top 10 Japanese 1990s Sports Cars:
10. 1990 to 1999 Mitsubishi Eclipse GSX
Mitsubishi still offers its Eclipse 2+2 coupe today. But it’s a fatter, less driver-oriented version of the 1990s original. Also sold as an Eagle Talon and Plymouth Laser, you could buy base, front-wheel-drive versions.
But I remember driving a comfortable 230 km/h in an AWD Laser RS Turbo (lent to me by a local dealer) courtesy of its 195 hp 2.0-litre 16-valve DOHC four.
The second-generation Eclipse/Talon/Laser got a bump in horsepower to 210. But the writing was on the wall. The Talon was discontinued in 1998, and Eclipse eventually lost its AWD and high-strung turbo versions.

How did they put the MKIV supra in 4th, and the 300zx in 3rd? the 300zx is a POS, worst engine bay, terrible motor, the turbos are sh!t.
the MKIV supra has one of the best inline6 motors ever built, is sexier, smoother design, and an over all way better car to own. Not to mention, BULLETPROOF.

MKIV Supra has one of the best interiors for a driver ever. The cockpit was just that, was like a jet fighter everything bends towards you. The 300zx was slower than the mkiv, handled worse, not nearly as reliable, and was not an easy car for someone in their garage to work on. I always loved the style of them, but the Supra is a car who's style from 93 would still turn heads and people would ask if it's a new car now. I can't lie, I am a MKIV Supra fanboy, but for good reason. It is one of the best JDM cars ever made.

I feel that the rb26 is not a good motor in the least, the oil pump fails constantly.
The rb25 on the other hand is a great motor. I would agree that the gsx should be way ahead of most of the cars. My top 5 would be:
1. MKIV Supra 2. Acura NSX 3. FD RX7 4. Mitsubishi Eclipse GSX 5. S15 Sylvia

and deep if you had a n/a 300zx yes your life would suck.. no hi cas, no turbos.. but if you have a jdm 300zx there fun.. the usdms had less power because of there horrible precats and 90 degree bends in the exhaust.. i mean 1 90 degree bend is the same as 15 feet of straight pipe
1992 Twin Turbo, 5 Speed, T-Top, 2Seater. I Just stored it. I had a decent offer to sell it but waiting till Spring Edit: Canadian Car.
