Just a heads up for ya. Don't know what you paid for the balljoint, but brand new entire control arms (which includes the bj) can be had fairly cheaply.

I've got a brand new OE Mitsu one here. I am not sure if it's the left or the right side.

are they different? how do I tell?

edit: just answered my own question, they are different...just don't know the difference...crap...

L/R shouldn't matter if it's just a ball joint but on 2Gs they are normally integrated into the arm.

It's defintely tough, the difference is very subtle. I'll see if I can take a pic of the two side by side and point out the difference/way to tell R from L.

Well after looking at the two side by side I came to two conclusions: 1) the difference is so small pics wouldn't be much help, they need to be seen in person and 2) the difference is in the orientation of the outer bushing which appears so minor, I'm beginning to think it doesn't really matter. Part of the problem is that the bare casting IS identical, the only possible difference is in the machined bore of the one bushing. Sorry guys.
