After 12 years and owning 5 DSM’s I think I am going to move on. I bought this Talon 3 years ago as I sold my 99 eclipse and wanted to have a pure weekend / drag / track car, and something for all my performance parts from my eclipse to go on. I looked at several DSM’s and this one's 1g usual rust spots were in great shape. Unfortunately shortly after buying it I got laid off and never went ahead with modifying it. I had started preparing the car with the tranny rebuild, and drivetrain mods but didn't make it to the serious stuff.

1992 Eagle Talon TSI AWD, Km’s = 240800km, 6 BOLT motor / 4 BOLT rear end (Best combo)

-Car has been stock and unmolested all its life. The body is in great shape, no accidents.
-Winter stored for the last 11 years (Unsure if it was before that but I am sure it was due to its condition) Krown oil spray throughout its life.
-Black Leather seats / Gray Interior / factory sunroof / PWR windows / PWR Door Locks / Cruise Control / Burgundy Exterior.
- Most of the 3000km's I put on the car was last year when I was driving to work on a 1 hour one way drive and the car averaged 40+mpg.

Below is the list of new parts that have gone on the car since I got it. All parts have around 3000km’s or less.

Breaks
- Front: Upgraded Dual Piston Rebuilt Callipers, EBC Slotted / Drilled Rotors.
- Rear: Rebuilt Callipers, Drilled Rotors, New Pads, New emergency break cable.

Drivetrain

Engine
- New T-Belts (50 kms ago, Replaced due to age, not km's, not worth the risk).
- New crankshaft seal and gaskets.
- New Valve Cover Gaskets.
- K&N Filter
- Polished Valve Cover.
(The previous owner told me that the motor had been rebuilt at some time but I have no proof of that.

Tranny
- New ACT 2900 Clutch.
- New OEM Fork / New Pivot Ball.
- New OEM Release Bearing.
- Fidanza Alluminum Flywheel with ARP Bolts and Bolt plate for face of the flywheel.
- Rebuilt Tranny,
 New 2nd Gear Double Syncro gear set.
 Updated shift rails / fork for the double syncro 2nd.
 Redline gear oil
 Some gears modified for better performance
 Assembled by a Licenced Mechanic who knows DSM's like the back of his hand.
 Brand new OEM Shift Cables.
 All new shifter bushings, bearings

Misc Items
- Newer OEM lower window trim (Rare)
- EPROM ECU that I had socketed (Will come with 7 different tune EPROMS) Never used but like I said I had plans.
- New (a month ago) battery with full warranty
- 2 gauge, pillar pod (No gauges)
- Fuel pump sending unit rebuild (Larger feed line welded in)
- 3” stainless steel exhaust with 3” Cat and new 3” flex.
- Clear corner lights.

The car will come with a trunk full of extra parts (Set of rear lights / center plate section / starters / alternator / ignition trigger / coil pack / newer spark plug wires / engine wire harness / original 6bolt flywheel / rad hoses / shifter assembly / 2 door pannels with switches / power window motor and track / climate control module / set of rear callipers and pads / Balance shaft delete kit, and a bunch of other items I have collected over the last bunch of years.

Currently has a set of low mileage winter tires, I was thinking about driving it in the winter at one time until I decided it was too clean, but that will be up to its new owner.

Issues:

Paint is faded and worn on the driver’s side in spots, a couple dints / scratches, small rust bubble on passenger side front fender, small rust bubble on edge of passenger side door, front bumper has a crack on the side from it rolling ahead in storage and sitting against a tractor tire for the winter(will include another front bumper)

These are all issues that if I kept the car are very minor and probably wouldn't change and as you can see from the pics are not that noticeable.

It just passed its emission test and was inspected for a certification and only needs a windshield. If the new owner wants to get the windshield on their own then I will take that off the price. At this time I don’t want to part out as the car is clean. It just had an oil change the other day also.

I never thought I would see the 1-off custom spark plug cover Ziggy made for me after it went missing when my car was at Peterson's It came with stainless *steal* hardware.

Sorry to everyone that replied that I am still getting back to. I have had a ton of interest on the car and have been swamped with responses. The car was pretty much sold the first day in but the guy is having issues selling his car. I have had numerous guys that say they want it but as of now the car is still for sale.

PM me for more pictures or my phone number to get a hold of me faster.

Also will include a turbo timer that’s not currently connected.

I would ask who ever buys the car to sell me the spark plug cover.

This spark plug cover was stolen from me and sold to Adam. I offered to buy it back from Adam as a price of his naming, and he has refused.

This was a one-off creation of Ziggy when he first starting machining dsm products. Sure was a beauty Ziggy! It also has stainless steel hex securing hardware (it is obviously machined from billet aluminum).

WTF!?? Man up, bud, and sell the guy his piece back! Clearly it's not even rightfully yours in the first place.

I have had this part for 7 or more years now and paid for it when I purchased the parts off the guy Nathan sold his car to. Nathan is supposed to be a moderator of this site and should know the rules of posting information that has nothing to do with this thread. The part is in my pictures and has been seen by interested potential buyers. If the new owner wants to sell the part they can.

Please clean this up mods.

This is in no way Adam's fault, nor should he feel obligated to sell a part off his car that he is trying to sell. Why not man up and buy a different one????? 7 years and there was no fuss, then you see it and cry for it? hmmm

PLEASE find another thread to discuss this in. THIS thread is for Adam to try and sell his car.

Now, I'll have all kinds of time to talk about DSMs, because I won't be busy fixing mine!

Just apologizing to all of those that have expressed interest in the car and I haven't got back to you. I have been extremely busy and haven't had the time to show the car to anyone. My schedule is freeing up with my new baby now being here and if you would like to see the car just let me know.

Adam
