Im refinishing a set of konigs right now. Easiest with no tires. If you have the time it is super easy, just fill the rash with jb weld after stripping the lip, mask the spokes and reprime and repaint the lip?

I'm not a fan of the cut out either brandon but i still have 4 3/4" still hiding behind bumper up top and 1 and half " at the bottum.. I cut 3" off to try and open it up a bit .. but with c02 FMIC spray and M10 shot of meth I doubt I needed to do that

Oh I definitely understand the reasoning behind it. But Kevin and Reza are both making 700whp approx. and neither one have the bumper cut out.

I was debating cutting my bumper up, and decided against it. Even though I still have a good half or so of the core hidden behind the bumper cover, I did trim the underneath of the bumper cover a bit. This way there's some more room for the air to flow across to the top, while retaining a stock look.

I've heard that building something to funnel the air up and into the fmic is better than cutting.

what are you guys using to cut the bumper to make sure it stays clean?

They are most likely using a dremel with a cutting disc! Tape it up, mark your lines and start cutting

hell no. I took the angle grinder with a cutting disk and texas chainsawed that bumper, then I sanded it down nicely and then painted
