zthats just over 30kph difference almost enough to get the hefty fine in Ontario. Biggest fine in the speeding catigory in NS but there is always larger fines like stunting $2500

Not sure what I will get. I was told I will receive my fine or court day by mail. Probably means I did really good! But come one it was Sunday morning with NO one around. I love the feeling of how my DSM wakes up with 20psi going uphill.

Rob I meant that he could use that excuse the following way: "Oh officer, I thought my speedo' was in kms, so I got confused and thought I was reading it in kms. So I thought I had to go faster, closer to 100km/h to reach the 65mph speed limit."

Dude, speeding fines in California are BAD.

My girlfriend used to live in San Diego, and she told me it's like BAM $300+ dollars for anything like that. Plus they have the 3 times and your out thing as well.

So if you go to court for the same offense 3 times, they chuck you in jail.

I think it has to be a criminal offense, and not speeding.

Don't know if it's true, but supposedly they have "Radar Detector" DETECTORS! Scary eh?

I know here the OPP have the radar detectors that will detect your own, so you have to continue buying the newest top of the line one's to get away with it.

Sounds like Cali is kind of like NY state, you have to mail in your plea, then they send you the amount of the fine.

There are also radar detector detector detectors, so you can shut your equipment off before they detect you.

Cops have radar detector detector detector detectors too, to catch drivers that aren't ahead of the cop tech.

Good thing I live in a province where they are legal...but cops are not very lenient if you have one though...

I did have a radar detector that also detected the device the OPP uses to spot your detector(VG2)-it used to scream and flash, VG2,VG2, and then shut off. Of course the one time it malfunctioned I got caught. $165(at the time) fine and confiscation of unit-luckily I had an old throw away detector just for that,lol. Anyway, I now have a Bel sti which are undetectable, but I mostly just use it for entertainment.

And at 20+ psi, I'm sure you could have outrun that Crown Vic

Take it from me, it doesn't take much to outrun a crown vic. I was in one behind a 1990 Honda Accord. I won, but barely.

And we use the Spectre Detector detector, and Wade, you're pretty much safe from our gear.
