Local guy here has been eyeing that up.
That guy is under house arrest for DUI. LOL And he rocks a mullet.
Beautiful car, he knows what it's got, but it's definitely not worth the price.

If I had 10k, f'in right I'd buy it. If its half as clean as I think it is, its worth it to some one who wants a mint piece of history.

Hmmm... I'm skeptical. Why is he rocking a bunch of extra stock parts for a car that has only 46k? If it was untouched with regard to modifications, I would say that it was a piece of history worth having. But as it is, I see pillar gauges, braided oil line, diy turbo clamps...

Ya, your right, I missed all of that as I just took a quick look. If the car was bone stock, my comment still stands, Id pay 10k for that car. Modded, Id give him 6500

There was a clean ass 93 Laser RS Turbo AWD Gold Edition, red, manual with a sunroof, low kms (can't remember the exact amount) and stock to the exhaust, heatshields and air can. And it was up for $6k.
To hell with $10k for that Talon.

I was emailing this guy back and forth last year when it was up on Kijiji, the story goes on about it being modded by some Canadian pro Rally driver and it was supposedly modded many years ago. The guy doesn't know a whole lot about what it is performance/mods wise.
Here is some of the info he sent me, Id love to get my hands on one with this kind of mileage!! great to see there is still a few out there this mint and nearly new.
his response from my initial inquiry.
"
The car has 46,000 original miles, leather is like new,car smells new,no winters, kept in heated garage all year long.To many mods to mention, forget a lot of them, ask about upgrades individually and I can tell you.New Toya tires have flatspoted from sitting will have to be shaved or replaced.I`am sure it`s the best DSM out there as most were drivin by the owners, after I bought the car I started working 7 days a week and barley put on a few thousand kilometers a year. The tranny was done from IPT in New Jersey and is good for 600 hp.,it probably has about 350 at 16 lbs. of boost. Ask away... regards Ian
secound reply
"" There are 3 turbo`s,a stock 13g,a installed evo 3 clipped and ported,a spare MHI Bastard 16 g with a 18g wheel.Have a chipped emc,560 injecters, fuel presure regulater with braided ss lines, aftermarket fuel pump with rewire kit, larger intercooler with all the piping,dsm.com bored out throotle body.Car is Canadian model,I shipped the tranny and torque converter to New Jersey, upgraded brakes and suspenion.K+N air filter,Gredy turbo timer and super afc.I did not do the work myself but Barry letrielle and his son.He was the man and his wife who raced in the Canadian Rally Championship in the early 90`s.Sure I`am forgetting something but I did not do the work. Ian
third reply....
"""
In these cars the automatic with a built transmission,go all the way up without losing any boost, think it is the shift kit.All the drag models are automatic, but are front wheel drive.I really don`t know what I should ask,but the race tranny alone cost 5,000,with the shipping, exchange and the highstall torque converter.add another 2,000 in turbo`s,1,000 for the custom built exhaust, plus all the stock parts. What do you think I should ask, your more knoledgeable than me. thanks Ian.

I`am a member of DSM source, which is the DSM trader, but it would not let me post pic`s.I have all the stock parts,so selling it stock, with the millage,7-8 thousand seems reasonable. If I don`t get a interesting offer,I`ll continue to enjoy it in the summer, putting on a thousand miles a year, which it should last me the rest of my life.BTW the Eclipse from the fast and furious has been sold 2 times on the us side of the rez,the last time for 48 usd.Smuggling money, easy come, easy go. Ian.

I still want it!!! Love the white on white wheels....
