Jason your cars does look awsome. You can hear the ice under the snow as you are trying to grab traction.

Who runs snows on a AWD anyways? Especially since yours should be in the garage.

If I were to actually run the car in the winter I would for sure have snows on it; they are required by law from Dec 15th to Mar 15th here in QC and from the little I have driven it in the snow, when the boost hits 25 psi it's actually a little tricky to handle!

Things are looking very good Rob!

Jason. Is Stanstead in the Eastern townships I grew up in Montreal, can't for the life me remember where that is. My 1gb was bought in Que and spent 2 winters there. Then it only saw Que winter 2 weeks at a time other then the Ice storm of 98 when i loaded her up with my generator and some supplies and head there to my parents house.

Hey rob what do you plan to do with the valve cover/pcv valve setup? Also was that VHT crinkle coat you used?

Im in the process of machining a copied design of the greddy catch can. Some -6an black nylon lines will replace the stock setup.

The powder coating was done in wrinkle black by our own mike Degli Angeli. Actually he let me shoot this part. My first powder coating experience!

I never have. I don't see a point. I'll just let the excess pressure run through the catch can as it wishes. I don't want oil in my intake manifold or my new ball bearing turbo for that matter wink

Yup, it's about an hour south of Sherbrooke, right on the border with Vermont. About 2 hours from Montreal, give or take depending on traffic.

No, not at all.

Speed sensor, throttle body closed switch, IAC, BISS and TPS all work together to produce a flawless idle. The PVC is useless.

Make sure all of the above are functioning 100% on a 1g for a good idle.

Oh and the FIAV shouldnt be overlooked as well wink

I am just surprised your IAC could compensate for the 25% reduction of idle air. You didn't make any other adjustments?

No worries Rob. I don't need to know how to do it. Already learn idle adjustments 20 so years ago.

I was just reading u wrong. I asumed you were saying it just took care of itself. My Bad.

I'm a big time allergy sufferer as well. I got a prescription of Nasacort, works miracles, all the over the counter stuff is useless to me.

My wife got tired of me working on the car all the time. She said i had to get something more reliable. I told her the only way i get rid of my car is if i get a new toy. It needed to be 4 door because of the baby. The Evo was an easy sell. lol. All i had to do was let her drive it once and she was hooked.

CTS-V SportWagon (6-Speed)! E63 AMG Wagon! Older RS4/6 Avant!

If I come into any kind of money, my DD will be a CTS-V SportWagon. Practical, fast, and fun. Best part is...it's sexy too!

What cars did you consider?

They're all nice vehicles, but the CTS(-V) SportWagon is the only one you can get in standard unless you manage to find an older (R)S4/6 Avant or BMW M5 Estate and one of only a few high performance wagons currently available new (mainly the V and the E63 AMG Wagon which is also a gorgeous and ridiculous vehicle).

Wouldn't kick any of them out of bed but being able to put down one of the top Nurburgring times in a family hauler while rowing your own...doesn't get much better than that.

I drove a standard Cadillac a few years ago and if it is anything like that I probably won't ever get one. You had to let your foot off clutch and let the car start moving and then you could gas it. If you gassed before you let off the clutch it would stall. I would hope that because this is the sport edition that it wouldn't have that "feature".

I have always liked the Audi wagons a lot!
I have actually never heard of the Cadillac till now but I have to say it is beautiful!!

No, no you got it all wrong...this is the best looking SportCombi out there

TurboX SportCombi

Beautiful car but the powerful variant is not in production anymore (at least not as far as I can tell from searching - Saab has THE worst site).

Another wagon I love is the Volvo V70R. Hard to find, but complete sleepers, fantastic quality, and 6-speed AWD. Can't go wrong!

Well thank you, cause that's what I roll in.

Yes, the TurboX was only made in 2008.
BTW, Saab's bankrupt, no more Saab period.

Is your car standard? What engine/power?

As for Saab being bankrupt.....I knew that! Hahaha....I was wondering why there was still the site/talk about MY'12 vehicles. Threw me for a quick one! Next thing I know I'm going to be looking to buy a new Pontiac!

The TurboX only came with these options, auto or 6-speed, SportSedan or SportCombi, and of course the choice of a colour: black on black or black on black.
They all share the same powertrain 2.8l turbo v6 280hp/300tq, XWD.
I have the 6-speed SportCombi with the above power train.

The first two pictures are of Aero SC, the last wan is a TurboX.
