Does the FWD Transmission shift good

Hey, sorry I've been busy for the holidays guys. The FWD Transmission shifted fine in my car. It is being taken out either this week or next, as I plan to swap in my new motor soon.

I don't wish to mis-lead anyone. I have said that the issue was the motor; to my knowledge the transmission is in perfect working order.

As for the block, it's still in the engine bay, as soon as I have it removed I will contact you Steve. Your price is fair, and I will do what I can to have it out as soon as possible for you.

How's it going? Block out yet? Haven't heard a thing from you in a month now. Just curious.

Are you selling the FP manifold that's shown in the pictures?

I need to have one with an external wastegate for this coming year, and if I can't find an o2 external wastegate option, then I'll have no choice but to get a tubular manifold + wastegate.

As for the block, I'm sorry I haven't been able to get back to you sooner. My car is making its way down to my friends shop Friday, to begin work for the coming season. I should have the motor out soon. I can't be bothered to take it apart and just give you the block, would you mind taking it as a whole? I'll let you know when it's out so you can come check it out.

Jay, hahaha..the eprom is staying with me. I'm sorry, but you are correct, it is the non-eprom version. Shoot me an offer, and I can get it mailed out to you Tuesday.

As for you Steve, I'm loading it on the flatbed as we speak to get the motor out tonight. I've already taken out the wiring harness and all thats left is axles, and motor mounts. It'll be ready this weekend, or whenever you'd like to come get it.
My friend loaded a longblock with tranny in his jeep, so I'm sure there shouldn't be much difficulty loading it in yours. I've got a few friends who can help load it in for you.

Forgot to mention, I'm no longer interested in a trade for the HX35/40, as I already picked one up. Sorry to those who just tuned in.

If I buy mikes 2g, then ill grab it. I just need a ecu to get it going. ill worry about eproms later. I will let you know

Steve, that's OK with me and my friend whose storing the motor at his shop. Dufferin and Hillmount, (Just south of Lawrence).

Call me anytime after 5 weekdays, and anytime during the weekends.

Anyway to check if this is a split thrust bearing block? Apparently some FWD 98's did not have them.

If I'm not mistaken it's 97 that they made the change to the bearing.

That being said, I'd assume it's a split thrust bearing. I'm not sure what I can do to find out if it's a split thrust or not besides opening her up...and I really don't have the time to do that.
