you hit the nail on the head. Ruben cant seem to get $5k for a beautiful car because it is a GST. I have about $15k in NEW parts in my car that would never recover in the sale of the whole car. The motor alone has about 8 grand in parts alone plus over 2k in labour. So if i can sell the motor and make back 1/3 of that cost then its worth it to both me and someone thinking of building. Plus factor in the brand new GT30 turbo and i would be butchered on offers. It breaks my heart to tear it apart as it took me 3 years to build it. I was getting over 440 cfm airflow so it was a beast. Never did a dyno though. I bought myself an EVO X so obviously my FWD Eclipse has lost its fun Now i need to make some money for some go fast parts for Project X. You can ask anyone that came by to look at her. The shell is mint so it would be a great project car for anyone with rusting out strut towers. I also fired it up infront of Nigel while he was here to prove it still runs. Considering it sat since Dec she fired up on the first shot with perfect idle (1000 because of my cams).
