I think if we are going to do Brampton region we should hit up Caledon too, I have been on some nice roads there.

KW would be cool,we used to have a huge DSM scene here but it kinda died out a bit.I think its when Rob left LOL,oh and were is Brampton?

If that fails; it should happend where we could cruise without having to fight trafic lights and/or heavy trafic or in an area where the "Man" stops us because they just feel like so.

Last year was a blast; the area allowed us to strech our legs without been out of line, meeting heavy trafic.

I liked the Hamilton/Cayuga idea. Late July would work so August can be dedicated to the shootout.

We should do another track day like we did the Invasion a few years back I think.

I don't know if you guys have seen it, but I got this "groupon" ad for a company offering laps at Cayuga in a Ferrari and in a Lamborghini. Not exactly cheap, I think something like $150. for two laps, and $50./lap after that....but could be a once in a lifetime opportunity if someone wants to scratch something off their "bucket list". Might be a good destination for some kind of cruise?

Wait, is that the price to drive the car or to be driven in it?

Actually if we do Oakville/Milton there are some amazing roads through the escarpment! Beautiful drive near kelso/rattlesnake point!

I can go scope it out and see if there is somewhere to park a bunch of cars. I drive though there all the time just to get away Rolling hills, lots of turns, lots of trees. I go up there to take pics.

There is actually a road there that is just over a quarter mile that I use to test. Only 2 farms on that whole road.

I would also love to do a day at cayuga. For the East end guys we can also go to the arm drop races in picton this upcoming May 24 weekend

Cayuga would be nice if we took the back roads...
I won't race though. I'm just gonna chill out and watch you guys break your cars. That's more fun than breaking my own car

Reza, I'm starting to think your car is just a hologram or something of that nature I don't recall ever seeing it move under it's own power... just magically appears from one place to another

I trailor the car when I go racing now, and haven't dragged it for over 2 years now This year will be different.

Funny thing is I probably drive it more than most garage queens here, and I have probably seen your transmission more than I have seen your car

Looks to me like it includes a ride as passenger in a Porsche Cayenne, then some in class, then some simulator, and then actually driving the Ferrari or Lambo....

Is it for sure the Italia, cause if it is I will more than likely go for this. Italia is definitely one of my top my cars right now.

Nah, last year was up in this end, and the turnout, albeit great, could have been bigger.

The whole premise of the "Invasion" is to find a place to "invade" as it were.

And if you all want to race, who says it has to be your own car?

We can meet like 09 at Yorkdale and Milton and then take those back roads to cayuga ?

I bet we could tweak that route to avoid the traffic lights. I think the problem was we didn't go west soon enough.. The trip to the QEW killed it.

I'm not sure where "09 at Yorkdale and Milton" is but "Take back roads to Cayuga" sound pretty good to me.

All in all I would wish to have a nice cruise and the occassion to do a few Runs.

I suggest picking 2 dates - one for the Invasion and one as a rain date just in case.

or we plan one in June and another in August. I am always down for an excuse to cruise!

Sounds absolutely amazing! Also, since I will very likely be joining! Not going to jinx anything until I hear the engine running and the car "driving" down the street, but you know what I mean.

Everytime I see that video I get really sad, because I missed such a turnout.

She's being worked on as we speak.

Not much, just had a replacement tranny/t-case put in, all seals on those, rear main seal, new rad/coolant hoses all around, 14B & FMIC, EVO 8 fuel pump rewired, fuel filter, TB seals, and that's about it.

Hopefully she's good to go we'll find out soon enough.

Before she sat last she made a funny sound and shutdown. Saw a lot of oil leaking out of the rear main area, which I already knew was leaking, so I just let her sit.

Now she's coming back to life. Hopefully when she "broke down" it was that massive leak, and not something else internal.

This year has been the most build threads, posts etc. Since I have been on this board! We should have a big turnout hopefully. late June/ Early July would be the best no ? August, everything seems to die down a bit.

Well August is the shoot out so some of us will be getting prepared for that trip.

lmaoo Then I grew up. And wtf my computers were not allowing me to login for the longest period of time. Between that work and school I definatley havent been around here much. I can def rep some sort of 4g63 and try and make it out to an invasion though !

I did that with Steve and Paul on '09 invasion. Since i was already in St. Catharines, it was a quick trip to meet up with them.

If my EI works out, then you can expect me to be there at least. Since, i have no job anymore and i have a lot of days off

Maybe ill drag my sorry ass out of the patch for this one. Of course I will be towing my car there hahah.

Well by the looks of things it's going to be in Hamilton/Brampton Region in July.

How does the weekend of the 14/15 work for everyone?

Hamilton and Brampton region is like an hour apart lol. Meet up in Mississauga would be best which is right of the 401/403 and back roads to Cayuga.(you end up going through Hamilton so we can have a meet spot in Hamilton also). Make it the end of July so people have enough time.

Who's taking the lead on this?

July 14/15 is only a few short weeks away, we'll need to come up with a working itinerary for those who are going... Should we get a formal list going???

Ok, end of July it is. The August long weekend isn't until the 4-6 so the weekend before that will be it. It's going to be Saturday July 28th, 2012.

Prefer someone who's from down there to take the lead on this one. Plan the route and the end spots/timings.

I think if we are in Brampton we should take a small detour and hit up forks of the credit. It's not that far north or we can make it another trip if not.

Well do that for a brampton meet lol. Ive only been to forks on bikes. I don't know if it will be worth it in a car.

I was going to suggest it so I went there today to check it out. To many cops but nice drive. My fav is lower baseline Rd from Trafalgar to Bronte. I LOVE that drive. That is where I do my 3Rd gear pulls. Lol

Why can't the track be hit on the 21st ? :S ... With 14th your just going to end up with a half ass meet since its only 2 weeks away. People need to take time off work, family etc.
