Hi Guys,

I am selling my Alpine CDA9835 CD/MP3 player. I bought this a few years ago and it was taken out of my Eclipse when I sold it and has been sitting in its box the last couple years. The deck was hardly used and is in great shape. Its best feature for those who care is you can match the interior light colour of a talon and eclipse so it looks factory. Its display is also great and is one of the best I have seen.

Key Features

BioLite Display: The high-quality display uses biochemical luminescence technology that provides outstanding visibility even in daylight. In addition, it has a much wider viewing angle than conventional displays.
Selectable Faceplate Angle: In addition to the standard faceplate position, there are three preset faceplate angles for you to choose from.

Blackout Display Mode: When the Blackout mode is activated, the display turns off to reduce power consumption. The additional power made available by turning off the display helps enhance sound quality.

Display Dimming: This unit is equipped with an illumination dimmer lead. When the unit's dimmer mode has been set to "AUTO" and the illumination lead has been connected to your vehicle's headlight circuit, the display's illumination will dim to a fixed, preset level whenever the headlights are turned on. If preferred, you may choose the "MANUAL" dimmer mode setting, so the display is dim at all times.

Animation Displays:
You may choose from the following animation displays: Type 1 (moving clouds), Type 2 (surface of a body of water in motion), Type 3 (car driving on the road), Type 4 (moving patterns of light), or Type 5 (drop of water hitting a water surface and the resulting ripples).

Calendar Display: You can choose to show the date when the time is displayed. The date can be in one of the following formats: month/day/year, day/month/year, or year/month/day.

Variable Button Color: The button illumination can be adjusted to any of 512 colors. The following color presets are stored in memory: Blue, Green, Amber, and Red. In addition, you can store one custom color under the User's preset. The custom color can be selected by turning the rotary encoder and cycling though all 512 colors.

V-Drive Hybrid Amplifier: A V-Drive MOSFET power unit is used to boost the incoming voltage from 14.4 volts (approximately) to 17.2 volts. The increased voltage allows the unit to deliver peak output of 60 watts x 4 channels. While providing high power output, this unit can draw a substantial amount of current, so the constant power wire must be connected directly to the positive terminal of the battery in your vehicle.
