The intake nipple isnt gonna suck the gases out as much as most think. its gonna suck from the path of least resistance ,and the huge 3" airfilters dont have much resistance compared to a tiny hole filled with thick gas.
Yeah but Jay you don't have airfilters on a proper baffled catch can setup.

mine is setup like yours is right now. the way your are proposing is good. Most people who do that pick up a inline oneway so they you have two things stopping boost from entering your head.

I dont even know why you would put an airfilter on a baffled catch can. All its doing is adding a restriction to the crankase beathing system.
The engine dosent suck air back thru the catch can, so aslong as it has an opening port to the atmosphere for the gasses to escape, it would work fine. But it needs to be a big exit. Ive seen cars run huge hoses from there valve covers to the ground. V8s just have a filter on there valve cover that does the same thing.
The only reason to run it to your turbo intake is to save the envoronment.
On my old 1g, I ran it to my turbo intake cause i had lots of blow by and it made alot of smoke. this hid the smoke.. I also never ran a PCV valve aither, just ran bolt VC ports striaght to the catch can, then to the turbo. At idle the motor didnt make much blow by, and at full throttle, that PCV closed up anyway.. might as well used it as a boost refence for my BOV.
My next one will be the ABS, with 2 1/2 hoses from the VC and 1 1/2"hose or bigger going to the ground.

I want to see what this ABS setup is going to look like. I am curious! Maybe I could go ABS for my coolant overflow tank.

This is the can, I made and ran in my old 1g.The black hoes is when I had to vent it to my turbo intake, cause it started smoking too mutch. This is it pulled open, to drain.. I guess I biult up some condensation! you can see the steel wool medium I used.

I heard the steel wool is dangerous, because it has little particles they can get sucked in to the turbo.

that's impressive! I like it! The baffle solution is an interesting one too!!
129$ is a good price, if anyone is interested I would be down for a group buy, not in any rush though.
