My DSM has been neglected for quite some time now, but I haven't given up on it. I hope the new whip will inspire me to keep in the "game" if you want to call it that. My Hyundai Accent did little in that department, but was a reliable car none the less.

I'd be up for a ralliart meet, I am already looking into the future, past the warranty, dreaming of modifications haha.

The "new" DSM's, if you will, that people have been jumping on for years have been the late model Evo's. I see a lot of guys going from a DSM to an Evo VIII, IX, X, new Ralliart, etc.

It's been happening for years lol

This Ralliart is a bit different, it's not a full blown performance model.

That is the transition i made. I went from my 99 Eclipse GST to the EVO X GSR. What a difference! I was actually looking for an Evo 9 but the price difference was nothing. I was looking for a 9 and they were running for about $20 (average). My X was only 3 k more with a Warranty and a few less years. I still prefer the 9 but I am happy with the choice

I have to agree with Kent, I don't know what it is with car companies putting blue and red together, I am not a big fan.

Thanks Kent and Bryan. The valve cover was red so i went with it but i hated it with the blue. It it was white or black it would work. I am trying to paint the fuse panel under the hood the same color as the car but i don't think it will turn out. The plastic does not absorb the paint the same as the metals

SOB, now i will have to wrap it or something.

There are paints for plastic, just try to find a near match, in a gloss. Shouldn't be that hard to find.

I just used a gloss black on my a-pillar, it turned out nicely

Catch can is mounted to the front of the tranny, where the stupied stock accumulator mounts.

Yes, blankets/heatshields are definitly something you want to keep.

That I'm not sure, haven't really compared. Those blankets are specific to the FP exhaust mani & FP series turbine housings.



Yes, still have AC. Temps run ~200 range (abit hotter or colder depending on weather). Probably close to what it was stock but my FMIC core isn't the best for airflow through the core.
