Went to 401 Mini Indy for the first time tonight. They have a promotion every Wednesday. $30 all you can race from 6-11. Had a blast!
So, who wants to race?

Well, I showed up at 7 with 3 other friends and we did ~160-200 laps tonight. Ti'm pretty damn sore to be honest... lol Arms and one spot on my thigh that kept smacking up against the cowling. Oh, and my friend crashing into me after I spun out at full speed. hahaha

So much fun!

Also, for anyone who has been there can vouch that these karts are pretty quick.

I used to go there once a week with guys from my old work. We started a points race. Loads of fun, but man your back and ass take a beating. I started to bring my own pillow to put in those beat up seats that dig into you lol

I highly doubt we'll get a group rate on all you can race night. That in itself is an amazing deal.
I left 404 and 16th ave at 1800 and was there by 1830 via the 404 and 401. Traffic only got shitty around the 400 area. Aside from that, not to bad. Everyone is trying to leave the city, not enter it.

401 westbound traffic in the evening is disgusting!

Especially with the construction at Islington. All weekend the 401 was a parking lot.

I thought there was a pileup or something, but nope, just construction.

I'll update soon...really sounds like fun.

Haven't been in a cart since I was 10 years old. I imagine these carts are a world of difference.

The track is open from 6-11 for the all you can race. With only 8 of us going, I doubt we'll get any special treatment. Last time I was there I believe it peaked around 24-30 ppl. They need to make some money as well.

I don't wanna pull a no show, so I haven't added my name to the list, but I hope to be there.

How many carts do they have?

16, but only 8 per race. The other 8 are spares because they WILL break or you WILL get crashed into. haha
