Got some work done on it, front bumper got trimmed and bolted up.

VRSF (SSAC, same thing).

It's an ok kit, came with the wrong hardware to bolt it up so I had to buy some. My car also had some issues (joys of rust and broken bolts).
Other then that I was pretty pleased.

I will say this rob I like the lip and that red. Only one other colour I prefer, But I would put that lip on a 2g if I had one.

Rob did a great job but I too was thinking of hassling him for no projectors. Then again everyone knows how I am with lighting so I decided not too.

I think Anthony might get some business from me for a retrofit this winter, after driving an Evo 8, I can't stand halogens any more.

Gimme a break lol. Ive literally stripped the car to a shell and put it back to this point since last Halloween. lol.

Its just a pic showing the first time its seen a battery in a year Im still miles away from being finished. I think im putting the whole project on hold for a month or two and taking the time to concentrate on other things Ive been neglecting in life for a while.

PS, The HID's came with the car. Id like to some time figure out a way to focus all that scattered light rather than ditch the HID lamps or switch to a projector head lamp assmebly. I think the options for 2gb eclipse projectors is all ugly.

PSS, I was actually more concerned with trying to get my ECU to connect to Link, with no avail. So I decided not to get mad and take a pic of the head lights on lol.

You can fab up some glare shields if you want for the time being, so at least the light doesn't shoot up to the sky and get wasted.

Glare shields don't work all that great.
A halogen bulb and HID capsule project the light differently.

Rob, don't use projector housings, make your own.

haha, I think his car is gorgeous, but HID retrofit is a big deal. Costs a couple hundred bucks, but the difference it makes is huge, and it's so important.

so i got some new (used)wheels for the 2g.. 215/40zr17 raptis tires with good tread, on Jawa 17x8" rims. with a 30offset.
Ever since I seen a 97talon at shoot out with major offset rims i decided 2gs didnt look right with out it. So i bought these off some guy at work for $150

Lower offset the better. +20 would be sweet on a 2G

I'm running a +40 and 245 wide, it's giving me like 7mm in between the tire and knuckle, and maybe 2mm at the rear quarters, also needed to trim the front wheel well plastics.

edit: for my fitment i had to shave the rear quarters a few millimetres too

Had way too much fun the other day! Nothing broke, 1 spin into the grass, and a few crazy moments of loss of rear traction. Insured the car for the day to beat the eff out of it at the track and bring it to my new garage and tear it apart.

ok so revamped my powersteering bracket. the fist style was too weak, so i started over and ended up with this.




And since were talking headlights.. I will be fabbing these in a set of eclipse housings.

Are those the 521/322 projectors? Looks like 'em
