As the title states, looking for a 1g crash bar. Wanted to mount the fogs back in place and well, apparently they attach to the crash bar. Either way I still want a crash bar on there for my safety I have to book, might as well have it. Let me know what you have and price, the closer the better Thanks!

you sure about that? my fogs don't mount to the crash bar, there should be three holes in the frame that they mount to.

I cut mine to put my front mount in, front bumper was sagging way to much for me.

1gb's mount to the crashed bar. Not sure about 1ga's Thanks for confirming it . I saw it in the Chilton manual. 1ga is to the frame, which makes sense, and 1gbs is to the crash bar, which doesn't make a whole lot of sense. im pretty sure i have one at home man ill check tomorrow i also have a nice set of fogs too sitting on my toolbox at work John, if you find it let me know, specially if it's a 1gb crash bar. I could technically make a bracket for them but I also like to have a crash bar since that will be the only thing at the front (running an upgraded sidemount on this one as well). I know I can probably pass the safety without it, but I'd rather have it since this will be my daily and I live in Brampton

Why not see if you can grab some 1ga fogs?

Good call, does the car have a front mount on it? If so what you going to use to cut the bumper?

Good call, does the car have a front mount on it? If so what you going to use to cut the bumper? No need, running a big sidemount on it, not a fan of the FMIC's (just a personal preference). So I won't have any issues with fitment I was just in Belleville today. JUST got home an hour ago...my 1Gb crash bar was there, I could have brought it back for you. Don't know when I'll be back out there, but if you still don't have one by then, I can probably grab mine for you. Cool, that would be great if I can't grab it from anyone until then. I'll let you know Salomon, appreciate the help

Don't always need to cut the bumper. My VRSF went in with no cutting at all. Hm, there must be a huge difference between the 1ga one and 1gb cause I have a vrsf too and I definitely had no choice but to cut the bumper. Is your front mount below the crash bar?

I had to cut the crash bar about 4". I think Saloman didn't cut his bumper either. Probably the reason why they moved the foglight brackets. LOL, bumper support = crash bar. Alright so we are on the same page now, I cut my crash bar too, bumper is in one piece as well.

I did not cut bumper = fascia. Sorry I didn't know there was confusion. It was actually Salomon who told me not to bother cutting (I think he saw my eye's tear up) when we were discussing it. As for his Bumper support( crash bar) I have no idea if no idea if he removed it or not.[/quote] My crash bar is removed. On the 1Gb's, the bumpers do not sag without the bar, so they are not necessary (except legally, of course). And yes, with the VRSF FMIC kit, there should be no need to cut/trim the bumper. It fits *perfectly* as is (flush to the edge of the bumper and fills the 'mouth' of it).
