Well just wanted to post this to let everyone know how well one of the technical docs works.

In this one:

Helicoil Fix with part numbers

I just followed it exactly to fix the stripped bolts on the valvecover...The new replacement threads are stainless steel...very nice. The kit was $45 and came with enough threads to do 10 bolts. Refills are only $7 or something.

I used them to fix my thread on my oil feed line from the head. That was a scary moment. I ended up breaking the drill bit in the hole. I was able to get the broken piece out and still tap it for the helicoil. It work greats and NO LEAKS!

I did my drivers side door bolt holes for the hinges. Torqued to spec and no problems yet.
