and for the record i wanted a talon after taking my brother darrens outfor a spin at 380hp. It felt nicer than my gtr i poured 25 k into hahaha.

they're sweet little rockets and i love the fact that they are total sleepers

I love them from the exhaust noise to the little bump on the hood for cams tongue

I am going to have to second what Ryan said.
If you think your getting flack for grammar you should read some of my post Ryan has flogged me for laugh
If you have allot of denarii there is no reason to be stupid with it. wink
The FP68HTA is one mean little turbo 47 Lbs min and looks STOCK laugh.
Pairing it up with a set of FP2 cams would so beast laugh.

I would not go with the AEM ECU instead go with ECMlink V3(FULL) with SD it is a better buy and works fantastic.

I would also recommend the following be added to your mod list.
FIC 1150's or FIC 1200's I like and trust FIC just my 10 cents worth.
Innovate MTX-L Wideband works nicely with ECMlink wink

You will also need to up grade the fuel pump plus a fuel pump rewire is a must !
Battier relocation is also something I like to do makes the fuel pump re-wire a snap.
Walbro 255LP or 255HP with a FPR both excellent options.
FMIC would also be a nice upgrade
All I can think of right now hope my 10 cents helps.

Just Because you are not paranoid dose NOT mean they are not out to get YOU !

The car has the aem allready installed. and I assume tuned. If he has it protuned by Evolution.. or learns himself The AEM is gonna be better. rezas hta 35 would be a better turbo. id grab that whole set up from him.

How do you figure that would be a better turbo? Because it's bigger? He wants a 10 second car that's able to be run on an AutoX course.

Smaller-framed turbo would be a better option for a quick spool.

And Reza is not selling an HTA 35R, he's selling an old school FP3065 which is a cast wheel ball bearing turbo.

From experience Ryan, would you not recommend the hta green?
That will put you into 10s and be great for autocross.

oh oops i was reading that somewhere else then.

from what i have researched.. the ems has alot more options and freedom. plus its a better speed density setup.

Plus he would just be waisting money if he sold the aem for a fraction of its worth.. just to buy a setup for alot more cause everyone else uses it.

So just read through this build thread/info gathering thread. Congrats on being bitten by the DSM bug, my first bite was 21-22 years ago.
I have a nice build (IMO) I have a set of 272's and a EVO 16G freshly built 8.5:1 Manley .20 over and I am super happy with things thus far. The HTA68 they are talking about is an amazing turbo in a small package that will pull fast and hard with proper cams also way up into the rpm band. I'm still breaking in my motor and have not been spraying meth yet (though installed) my goals are for a powerful street driven car that might see a strip from time to time as we don't have many of them here.
The info your looking for is on here and there are lots of thread of info.
Good luck and lets see some pics!! With that income you can get a camera smile we all love car porn too!

ok so after some reading.. i would stick wih the fp3065. its an easy 500+hp turbo.. or maybe a hx40 but eitherway go wih a t3 housing.

Kyle:

I would not recommend an FP Green for AutoX, it's not a fast enough spooling turbo. If he wants AutoX, he NEEDS to stay small for a turbo. EVO 16G or FP68HTA.

If he wants power, and all out drag, then go bigger on the turbo.

I love the Green HTA. It's a fun street turbo, and works very well at the drag strip. I still have more to go on this turbo, but with its slower spool, I wouldn't recommend it on an AutoX setup.

For those of you who haven't done AutoX before, you want power QUICK. You don't see 10 second Subarus doing AutoX. You see 12 second Subarus doing AutoX, but they can handle the hell out of the course.

IMO, I'd say have fun with a 500WHP car doing AutoX. You don't need to go fast with an AutoX car, you need agility. 200HP civics were blowing my doors off at my last AutoX.

The 20G is the same as the Green Non-HTA.

Then the hta71 would be golden, it has a little quicker spool, I like mine. My buddies hta green spooled insane! Weird that yours didn't, he was running stock compression on fresh build.

Not saying mine doesn't spool fast, just not something I'd use for AutoX. I see 36psi by 4500RPMS. If you're running AutoX, you may want to be seeing full boost a little sooner.

My motor is 9.0:1 however my cams are very aggressive. I take mine up to almost 8K on a full boost pass.

Sorry.. the 20g if its a tdo5h. The green is a tdo6 is it not? That would put at a much later spool. Tdo5h 20g for easy quick spooling 400hp.. then a 150 to 200shot for the strip. your motor and engine management handle it really well.

Oh, now it's a 9 second car.

Get this:
http://store.forcedperformance.net/...Code=NTT43794&Category_Code=Turbo-FP

Its a 800hp capable turbo. It'll make you run 8s. Screw 9s, that's slow these days.

Start using this:
