I'm not entirely sure I will make it down the night before to meet you guys as early as 8am. I want to, but that involves me either leaving my place at 4am or staying down there with the GF the Friday night.

Sandbanks books up really quick, so if you can even still find anything on a weekend, jump on it now. If you're planning on camping, just stay the Friday night at Sandbanks or someone else's place in the area.

And yeah, I'll definitely post the route when it's done, it's just not ready yet

For the part in the county, it utilizes much of the same route for from the 2011 Invasion.

The majority of the route is still fresh and new and most of it occurs before we get to the County.

I am still going to over the part between Cobourg and Frankford to see if I can find a more interesting route (or if that selected route is fine). Everything Frankford onwards until we get to the County is considered set in stone, as is the route through the county, for the most part.

It's somewhat long but believe me, it is WELL worth it. You will be ITCHING to get back out on some of these roads. Also, we'll definitely do it quicker than the Google estimated time, even of we only average 95-100 in the 80 zones (most of it).

Can we BBQ or have some kind of lunch at the Sandbanks?

That was my plan, that's why I wanted to there by ~1pm. Time to eat and enjoy the beach and the sun (fingers crossed!).

Ran most of the route a couple of weeks ago with a few buddies...here's my buddy chasing me on his litre-bike on Flinton Road.

The videos make it look slow...but we're averaging about 160 through these sections...some higher, some lower.

Car's running fine. Just tracking a boost leak at the moment. Compressor is still down so testing is a pita.

I have to install the new rad, fan and wiring. Probably a couple hours there.

I don't NEED to relo the alt this week. I started...and by started I mean finding all the parts I ordered over a year ago lol

Other than that, I'm driving it just fine. And since Steve R. helped setting up my SD, it's getting a LOT better fuel economy. I'm just being lazy here I guess. I may drive down Sunday morning at 4am to meet you boys in Cobourg.

If it's JUST 3 people (myself included), 2 of whom have already driven all or many of the roads on the route then I'm going to pass, especially with school starting Monday and needing to get settled in (in Waterloo).

That being said, I will keep my name there for now.

If more people decide they are going to come out then I will definitely go. But if it stays at 3 I won't be.

If it wasn't for the drivetrain slop, blown throttle body gasket and what seems to be the electrical (MPI reset) problem has returned.

keep in mind everyone.... I have a flat bead and will offer my services if needed.

I would need to borrow a 2G ECU that has a socket at minimum. I'm starting to think that the electrical problem is due to a bad ECU.

Working and stupid busy till next month. Next month the tear down ends and the build begins in full force! Hopefully next year...

lol.... well my 2g may not make it.... I did a boost leak test found a huge leak in my faiv block off. So I reinstalled my faiv.. and now it jumps to 260 dagrees coolant temps just idleing. Maybe ill figure something out but Im driving the car like this.

just block off the coolant passages for the TB temporally until you can figure stuff out.

Well I did just fill it up and not run it wih out the cap off.

Given that, I'd say there's no point in having this tomorrow, especially since the few of us still in have run all or most of these roads at some point before and are close enough to run it at any time.

The route is there, those who wish to run it may - it is an AMAZING route...it's a shame that the Invasion fell through but hopefully we can get a group of people together to run it either a little later this year or perhaps a Spring Invasion next year.
