Your not going to fix a crap tune or a mechanical issue with gasline anti- freeze.

You may get lucky and mask a problem witha new cat. But it is so easy just to tune it correctly in the first place.

I know. I wont let them drive it in this time and will be watching for sure. I'm just weary, especially when it's young guys doing it.

They wouldn't put a fan in front of the 1G when they did it. At one point a hose cracked and I saw them worrying just looking at it, put the fan in front of it and then told me my engine blew. They also told me my turbo was broken because it wasn't spooling... lol

Yeah I could see that being a plus.

Back when I had to do the sniffer test, the young guys at the oil changers didn't know the eclipse came awd. They also didn't know how to use my clutch. I'm cringing here watching the one kid stall my car about four times in a row then finally another kid jumps in and revs it to at least five grand and slips it into the test bay. I was outside with them the whole time and it pissed me off they couldn't just let me drive it in but my friends younger brother worked there at the time and guaranteed me a pass. So I just bit my tongue and kept telling myself it will be over soon.

They all had riced out Honda's out back.

Close story l with my 2g apart from the guaranteed pass. Stalled the car many times and eventually slipped the thing so much it was awful. All their cars were old integra's, accords and a couple scrap civics.

Hence why I am no longer letting anyone drive my car in. They want my buisness, I get to drive it in.

CANADIAN TIRE THO

i had to get my tires installed at Canadian tire cause I didnt have a tire machine. They dropped one rim and bent it. But instaled the tire anyway. I gotacross town and it was flat. Took it back to canadian tire. They claimed i hit a pot hole on the inside of the rim and after an hour with the managers still would not own up. Had to buy another set of rims.

Are you asking IF I blow up my ENGINE does my dealership replace it? Or are you asking if I blow up a client's engine does the dealership pay for it?

If you blow up your car while you are doing yoir own etest?

But never mind. I just remembered the car is never their responability during an etest. If it explodes .. The car owner is actually respnsable for damages to the facility equipment.

Put a rod cap on backwards?

Worked for me.

Edit: To protect what little dignity I have, I should mention that it wasn't actually ME who put the rod cap on backwards....

The only thing that can be damaged is fuel lines/filter/pump if you dont dilute it soon after?

Performance must be good, assuming you tune for it.

Corte if you renew your sticker before Saturday you shouldnt need an etest. It has passed every etest since 2003.

Depends on year. His is a 91 so for a 2015 sticker he needs and etest. Since he had it etested to get it on the road feb 1st 2013 that means if he renews his sticker tomorowhe wont need to re etest it. For another 2 years.

Ah good. I thought someone said if you have an even number then you have to etest on even years, and the same idea for odd year cars and odd years.

Also, my sticker is only valid until June this year. They told me I would have to renew the sticker then and cant get a two year sticker at the time.

No odd year vehicles get tested on even years to get an odd year sticker. So to get a june 2015 sticker you would need to get an etest in 2014. But since you have a valid etest from lesd than a year ago. You will be fine.
