Hey Jay, Jamie might be the quickest but i still had few mph on him. To tell you the truth I',m not overly concerned on my times with the car if I was I would build a track/drag car. I just hope the tranny holds up to my new found power. Ohh and we all know that i never push the car as hard on the track as i do on the street.
The bolts are s/s and are powder coated.

Very nice looking setup Paul! What turbo are you going to run?

off topic, Shannonville is only 1/8th mile? Damn I was considering a trip out there next year to play with you guys.

Direct from their website:

Quote

SMP DRAG STRIP

1/4 mile strip
Description

Vehicles with a dial time of 9.3 and less run the
1/8 mile to allow for adequate run off/slow down speed.
Vehicles with a time maximum dial time of 13.0 run the 1/4 mile

Notice the first part: "Vehicles with a dial time of 9.3 and less run the 1/8 mile to allow for adequate run off/slow down speed."

Followed by:

"Vehicles with a time maximum dial time of 13.0 run the 1/4 mile"

The way they worded it implies that 9.3<Dial Time<=13.0 equates to 1/4 mile...what they really mean to say is anything higher than 9.3 runs 1/4 mile, although personally, I'd not run 1/4 mile there in anything faster than a 10.5s car with GOOD brakes.

Oh I was thinking they meant anything running faster than 13's could only do the 1/8th.

this is me running shannanville. I come close at the end..but I shift into 5th right after the trap and I think that keeps the momentum up. After this run my brakes were almost useless they were so hot.. but yer not reaaly sappost to run the road track right after the drag strip!

Notice Jamie at the end working on his exaust after his 11.04 run

I always say we should all book off the all day weekend at shannanville for a huge dsm meet!

That's cool, I had never heard of something like that.
I wonder if anyone has incorporated something similar in a water to air setup, it would definitely help with the heat soaking issues.

EDIT: Scratch that idea, turns out people have researched that and it's not as practical as it is on an air to air setup

I have since eliminated the co2 sprayer as it didn't do much.
My best to date mph was 135.2mph at about 35psi and a very soft launch. the car sits at 3250lb with me in it. So according to the hp calculator that's about 625 awhp on pump gas with meth. I'm shooting for around 750awhp with new setup . 40psi and big turbo should do that. smile

My best to date mph was 135.2mph at about 35psi and a very soft launch. the car sits at 3250lb with me in it. So according to the hp calculator that's about 625 awhp on pump gas with meth. I'm shooting for around 750awhp with new setup . 40psi and big turbo should do that. smile

I'm assuming you'll be running the 3586 in a T3 Tial housing??
Sweet manifold BTW smile

Boner! Wow, what a car!

This got me thinking about Nick Gallo's white eclipse. Can't wait to see it next season!

for a second the exterior of 'Snow white' there reminded me of Alex A's 'Red dragon'. 2 tone, twisties and 2gb Eclipse front bumper'ed talon....loose the spoiler and this would be the only DSM I would rock (other then my Elvira).

Such a gorgeous car, why would you tease us with so few pictures? frown

Wow, I remember when the car was having trouble punching through the 400HP mark. No more Edwin at KVR .. dunno what happens with that dyno now.

I remember just how clean that car was, and to see it probably even more clean now is just inspirational.

Hope life has settled down since the last time the boys were all down at KVR. Been a few years for me ...

Never seen so many Dodge's and Eagle in one parking lot before, that wasn't a performance oriented dealership.

No more Edwin? Thats too bad he was a good guy. Tim you should come down to K-town with your Colt when we have a meet or Shannonville night! Or we could come up to Ottawa, do you go to any meets there?
