hello all.
So the previous owner of my 1997 eclipse gsx painted all the grey interior panels black to complete the interior. (bottom of door panels, trunk surround etc.) problem is the paint appears too glossy and is obvious its not factory.

Is there any paint i can use on these plastic panels that would look like it came from the factory that way.

Thanks.

Matte black plastic paint. Any hardware store will carry it. Might wanna grab a can of brake clean to prep the panels before spraying. I would also scuff the glossy paint with some 3m sanding sponges.

Then brake clean, then paint.

You don't need to strip the glossy paint.

I used SEM Color Coat on my interior. Landau black and low gloss clear coat.

SEM can be bought from a paint shop supplier.
