So here is the deal. I have a significant amount of Ceramic supplies with a shelf life. That date is approaching in June so I would rather use it than throw it in the garage so i'm offering a significant discount of doing DSM manifolds, turbine housings and o2 housings. i'm doing this for half the usual pricing.

The 2 colours you can choose from are

Piston Coat
http://www.cerakotehightemp.com/finishes/C-186Q/

Bright Silver
http://www.cerakotehightemp.com/finishes/C-7100Q/

DSM cast manifold $60
Tubular Manifold $90
Turbine housings $60
o2 housing $40

If you bring more than 1pc, take 25% the lessor part.

Rules:

1. I'm doing this for board members only so this applies to DSM parts only. Don't pass it to your non-DSM friends. This is a service for the DSM community.

2. The part must be in my possession by Apr 27th and will returned May 3rd as they will be batch coated.

3. If you bring more than 1pc, take 25% off the lessor part (i.e. cast manifold plus a 02 housing would be $60+$40-($40*25%) = $90)

Just wanted to say I've ran their coating for a full season and it's held up nicely. Still looks great!

Do you run heat shields?

@Mike D

Is the piston coat alright to be run on exhaust components?
Or are people better off with the Bright Silver?

Piston Coat is fine for exhaust components. It has a higher temp rating then the other colours at 2000F. I really like the look of the piston coat colour.

No heat shields. Not even the manifold blanket I still have new in plastic. I've almost decided to not use it because the coating came out so nicely.

Are heat shields not recommended when ceramic coating?

Of course you can use a heat shield and of course you can coat heat shields also!

I was curious about heat shields and your engine bay temps.

@Mike E did your bay temps rise noticably?

I have a bit more exhaust piping than everyone else with the compound turbos.
When I left the piping as-is with just an exhaust manifold heatshield, the engine bay parts were all redicliously hot to the touch.
I then wrapped the pipes and added turbo blankets and everything cooled dramatically. But a couple weak welds cracked on the exhaust piping.

I am getting the piping remade and welded by a professional. Hoping Ceramic coating is a good middle ground. Bbetween bare, and exhaust wrap.

I'm using the cast FP Mani, had that coated as well as my entire turbo minus the CHRA, even my dump tube and the TiAL MVR and FP cast 4" custom intake all in ceramic black.

It's held up nicely and I won't be wrapping it.

I didn't notice any change in temps before and after the coating. Although I'm not using an egt either, I'm not even sure if that would give you an accurate answer. I will say that the tubular mani I ran before would emit much more heat than the cast mani, but that's pretty obvious.

I say go for it, it's a damn good price.

Not what I paid bitch lol
