Yeah it's that one, Alex just really want's everything gone. He will be scrapping it probably shortly after we pull the panels from it.

If anyone wants anything off it let me know and I can grab it for you or I can connect you with Alex, it's a 1gb NT

Pretty much, I was the only dsm, 4 or 5 subarus, one of which was decently fast running low 8's(1/8th mile) and of course a hand full of cocky mustangs that wouldn't run a dsm.

This is about 10 years ago, either FP Red or Fp3575

New car, new setup! T4 TBB70mm
[Linked Image]

Wanted something with some more mid-range and went down to a full bolt-on FP3586HTA
[Linked Image]

Went down to an even more streetable setup after that with an HTA68, which was fun but I missed that big turbo pull. So this year setup is a T3 HX40, with a Magnus manifold instead of the JMF.

I also picked up a stage 3 TRE transmission, but it's a 2G, so I'm hoping 3rd and 4th gears hold up. If she does blow, she'll be shifting like butter until she does! Lol

I have been driving my DSM around for the last few days. Old, powerful and raw is a good way to describe this car.
After driving my Evo X around for a few months, it really makes the DSM feel really really old.
Now I remember why I built this car: to pound the living sh!t out of it! demon

I dunno about you guys, maybe I am just getting old, but driving a highly modified 1992 DSM during day time traffic in the GTA really makes me feel like I stick out like a sore thumb! shuffle I mean, except for Helder's and Kevin's car, I can't even remember the last time I have seen a modified 1g DSM driving around under its own power, lol.

kids these days don't even know what DSM's are let alone care. In a sea of new, modern, comfortable cars of course your early 90's sticks out like a sore thumb, but like you said that's not why you built it.

RZA, post some pictures of the beast!

I felt the same way when I was daily drivin my old red 92 and I'm sure I will get it again as soon as the 93 is on the road. I found that many people stare. It does stick out a lot, they're sharp old-school lookin cars that are extremely rare to see.

At lights the thing would just sit there and lump away as it's idling. I'm sure some people thought it was the biggest misfiring pos ever. Gotta love it smile

These cars are Extinct. Its more common to see a numbers matching car from the 60's flying down the highway than a functioning DSM.

@ Terry, I thought the same thing. Except when my gf who is a highschool teacher said a couple of her kids were talking about dsm's. she piped up about my car, and they were asking if it was turbo, awd, etc.

I guess there is some hope for the younger crowd.

I am considering LOJACK for my DSM. Chances of clean Turbo DSM being stolen increases daily.

My 2G is definitely getting some sort of a tracker.

My red 1G does stick out a lot. I've never gotten such attention in the black 2G or green 1G.

Lol most people think I am a broke college student that drives a 90's accord.

Back out in the Quinte area I see the odd Dsm driving around. But never seen anything in the GTA!

Can't steal my car!! I know where it will end up and you couldn't part it out without me knowing!!!

My 2g used to stick out like a sore thumb....especially with ANY police car in its vicinity. But it did have a kit and a big racing stripe on the side tongue

The 1g, the couple times I drove it, goes by without a second look! Only people that come up to me are "connaisseurs".

I like being loud and obnoxious!! Love the idea of normal average traffic and then I come roaring down the road .. Bit of back fire... Then a quick few little revs as I round the corner.. And hear the turbo spool as I dissapear down the road. I really love when a nice new mustang cobra is sitting at a light across from me, and people check me out instead!

Was thinkkng of a kill switch under the dash to prevent theft. But we dont see much grand theft auto here.

So the stock suspension finally got switched out for a set of lowering springs and adjustable struts. Big ups to Jamie Best for hooking me up! I really like where it sits now.
