Hey guy's

I am having n issue with my laptop connecting to my ECM. I have updated to the newest update from Ecmtuning but still no luck.

Now my laptop has had a new hard drive install and windows XP reinstall , but not the factory sony os. Could this be the issue? Ie it doesnt know its comm ports anymore? I cant find my original Ecmtuning dvd. Is the a way to download it?

Unfortunately a new laptop is not in the budget currently.....

Go to the ECU Tab -> Configure Connection, setup the version your using.

You where it says 1g or 2g or evo? I changed that from 2g to 1g already.

You downloaded the complete version? Open device manager (right click my computer>manage> on the left pane, click device manager) then see if there are any unknown devices when you plug in the ecu.

Do any other USB things work with it?

Oh it see the ecm now. But cant install the driver for link. Says I need the install disc. Good luck finding it in this mess of a garage.
