I was looking for something softer as well, the tires I have now are 360 and just don't hook enough for my liking.

The guy at tire rack said the S-04s had a stiffer sidewall then the Evos.. And better steering response..

I'm only doing drag with my car currently so softer sidewall is better for me.

Yeah I was between the evos and the rs3, but it do get stuck in the rain some times and figured the rs3 wasnt the best bet for that

For my next set, I'm going to be picking up some Nitto NT05's if I cant get a great deal for something locally. They have double the same tread life of my current 615k's which it seems I can get about 3 summers worth out of them.

Well I was playing on the road course and found my new sport!!!! Ill still drag race... Proly till I get my 11 and then stick with tracks!

How long have I been telling you that! Circuits are way better then drag racing.

I run those same tires well a bit wider. Pretty good in my books, nice and quiet and once warmed up they get pretty sticky.

But they don't compare too my old Toyo RA1's & R888's I use to run when on a course. Shouldn't really be comparing them as they're two different class of tires

I have about 4 track days on the ziex's now and they are holding up great!

They let me run without a kill switch for now.

I bought a kill switch with a removable key, but the key can only be removed when it's in the off position . Not very street friendly, but oh well.

Shannonville doesn't tech anything. You could be doing crack in the staging lanes and they'd be more pissed that you weren't paying attention to the official waving you onto the track.

Sounds like our 1/8th mile track, the only thing they bitch about is any oil leaks because then they have to do work.
