Hey guys,
This car has been sitting for a while now and I would like to sell it whole.
NEW Jamie Loo FMIC kit Rebuilt 14B (minimal shaft play) EVO 8 fuel pump sending unit replaced with another working used unit Rear main seal Complete coolant hose kit from RTM in blue Emissions delete (CEL is on from this) RTM manual boost controller Symborski Shifter base bushings All seals replaced on throttle body exhaust manifold gaskets replaced Valve cover gasket
The bad:
* Was driving home after being towed, and there were massive vibrations as if something had come loose. Problem has not been diagnosed, but people's guess so far is that the centre diff is toast and VC coupler, and there might possibly be something wrong with the transfer case. Car rolls fine, rear tires don't drag or anything. I have since picked up a replacement transfer case which will be supplied with the car.
* rear left shock is blown as is front right I believe. Car sits on stock springs. They're KYB AGX shocks, which were installed new, but blew very quickly.
* Steering wheel squeeks a little when car is cold, but goes away fairly quickly.
* not all pieces of the interior-rear are installed, but will be included with the car.
* hole in the rear left wheel well from rust
* hole in front right wheel well below the intake filter from rust.
* strut towers have some rust.
Motor is strong and runs well. I have not done a compression test. Timing belt was also done a while ago, but not many kms put on, accessory belts as well.
Thermostat was also replaced not long ago.
Idle goes up to just below 1000rpms on occasion since the emissions delete.
I recently sunk quite a bit of money getting her back onto the road and she is healthy minus the stuff above.
I was hoping for $2000 for the entire car and do not wish to part it out, as I do not have a space for the car to be taken apart like that.
Note: I cut and pasted this from my original for sale post from a while ago that went south quickly.
Please keep this one clean so I can sell it.
Thanks guys! Cheers, Mike
