Chris Cumming OP Newbie on Probation C Joined: Feb 2006 Posts: 13 Winnipeg, Manitoba	i'm in the process of a rebuild for my 1g fwd. I purchased a set of 2g pistons on 1g rods. I had the machine shop check them and was told that i had the wrong set of pistons. They said the pistons i gave them were non turbo pistons. I think they don't know what their talking about. Is there a physical difference between the two? this is a pic of what i bought. Dsm tuners is down i tried to check their forum. ebay

I don't have the pistons with me. They are at the shop. The shop was saying that because of the shape, and according to their specs. it is not a turbo piston.

The edges are FLAT. It's not a good picture but there is a huge diffrence in person. I do rember the 1G pistons having 63dt with an arrow. FYI, it cost me 130 to get the rods modified to fit the larger 2g pin. Actually cost me more than getting my block bored.... (112) Worst DSM'er Ever, Haven't had a DSM for 6 years.
