Being perforated it's better in the heat and so much softer. Bulkier in the hand so great to hold. Funny enough, quite easy to do. Sure, not working today if you want to pass by and try it out (or wkn). It's relatively easy to do and a good result for the time/money put in as opposed to changing the steering all together. You still need to sow it on the steering wheel, but other than that, nothing else to do. "Looked at it, declared war and went to find my throwing wrenches."

Just grab one with the size of your wheel. Comes with thread, leather etc. All you need really. Fun little project with a good result. Not sure if your doing a 2g or 1g but I still have one left I bought extra in case I messed the first one up Bryan may buy it but I can let you know if he doesn't need it. Didn't really have a vehicle in mind, just good to know. Question though, how'd you get it to fit so well in the spoke area/follow the contours of the wheel in that area? My 2g wheel is still in perfect shape, but if I could find a way to make the grip thicker in diameter & re-cover, that might be worth doing. The Evo wheel looks so much better but I don't want to lose air bag functionality. 98 Eclipse GSX DSM82HTA

If you want to be sure to get it incredibly tight, but this mostly applies just for real leather, is to heat it up before you sow it tight so it can stretch to its maximum and remain tight after it's sown.
