Hey Guys,

I pulled my lower timing belt cover today to confirm that my timing is bang on, the mark on the crank sprocket is a bit vague, can someone confirm from the pictures below that it is correct? Thanks.

See, I still have my doubts, like I said that mark doesn't really point to one specific spot, if I line it up with the deepest part of the V on the pulley with the top of the mark I get this:

So which one is right? From this perspective it looks like the exhaust cam is off by half a tooth.

Your timing is fine. The correct way to line it up is the first way you had it.

We can't see them, just make sure the dowel pins are at 12 o'clock smile

The cam marks also should line up perfectly with the top of the head if you look straight on.

Yep Dowel pins are at 12 o'clock, I'll take another picture tomorrow just to confirm.

Well, at least I know I can do a timing belt job when the time comes now haha.
