E85 is better/safer than meth if you can get it.

Everything all ready for winter. Bikes and the Talon are in a heated garage/shop now, the Elantra I just rust-proofed, did some maintenance and put on my winter wheels so it's ready.

^Nice and clean Lucian. Glad she is being stored for the winter.

Last Sunday i went to MITSUFEST for the first time. The meet took place at Auto Club Speedway located in Fontana CA. Plenty of nice EVOs, and just few DSMs. Sometime i start to miss my evo x weep

Here are some of my shots

Looks like that would be a great time.

Although it bugs me to see people still use aerosol or spray bottle tire shine. And seeing asphalt over spray. It just seems like they're trying too hard.

I don't use any of those products anymore after discovering the gel and sponge applicator comes out a hundred times cleaner.

Other than that, still looks like a good time.

It is, although I'm used to having stuff hidden smile

This one I shall leave alone though. But this is a good comparison vs my old 93 AWD. I can't seem to find the better pic with the Evo 8/9 MAF that I had on, the stock 1G was only on for a little at the beginning.

That's what a sneaky meth nozzle is for wink

I think Turbo Tom was still running mostly stock piping on his GVR4.

Since we are all into engine bay pics tongue
I have an announcements to make: I got rid of my 2G MAF demon

[Linked Image]

[Linked Image]

[Linked Image]

also had to replace 2G fan with two Spal fans to make space for FP intake.

[Linked Image]

Still too many wires but eventually engine bay will be cleaner.

I was thinking the same thing Jason

The car is beautiful but the snow ruins it. I associate snow to salt, and in turn to rust. So snow = rust cry

Thanks Bryan. SD is doing well. There are pluses and minuses. Minuses: during warm up period my A/F swings too much betwen 12.5 - 17.5 but once warms up it's swings stable around 14.8.
Pluses: better response and kicks in sooner and harder at WOT.

This year jet streams pushes arctic air down towards Cali and warmer air towards eastern Canada.

[Linked Image]

If this pattern continues you guys should have an early spring like in 2012. Here is the weather in Brampton during March 2012. As long as great lakes stay warm: Spring starts early:)

That's a negative, still rocking Rochester 95LBs. I dialed them in best i could so i'll keep them until i am out of injector duty cycles. Currently I am at 68.8% with 30 % ethanol(59% without ethanol) in my fuel, 37.8lb/m air flow, 21.5 PSi, 373whp according to Link.

I'd keep them until you step up to some ID2000's some something in that area.

If the exchange ever gets decent again that's probably going to be my next major purchase.

I want something more smooth and linear so i started looking into high Z territory. I agree those high z injectors are extremely expensive. When you ready to buy them i may be able to help you with exchange rate because i'm getting low on CDN currency. I'll need it for my trip home.

Also, i exchanged AVID tuner series mounts (all four) with torque solutions mounts (roll stop and rear). I dislike the idea that AVID roll stop does not have threaded holes. I want something "direct fit" without the need to hunt for proper nuts bolts.

Really? I actually drilled out the treads of my stock front roll stop so I could use full nuts and bolts. To me it just feels stronger! That and I never have to worry about wearing out the threads. Easier to line up loose bolts when mountingvit aswell.

Really! The main purpose to buy was to save time. I doubt i will have threads wear problem anytime soon to worry about it. Also, unless you weld those nuts it's quite difficult to hold them in place with engine mount bracket over the roll stop.

If you can do it, good for you!

Alex isn't the kind of guy to pull his motor on a yearly basis, so I don't foresee any issues with the holes wearing out. Can't say I've ever heard of someone ripping the threads out on these.
