None of us can possibly feel the hurt inside you right now but we can all be there for you when you need to talk or anything for that matter, we're just a text, private message or phone call away, any time. Your DSM family is always here for you, in good times and in bad.
Take it easy my friend and please send my condolences to the rest of your family.

My deepest condolences, Ghislain. As the guys have said, we're all here for you (even those of us who have not had the pleasure to meet you). I can't imagine losing someone that close to me, but I know even the hardest times in life eventually pass. Boost on, sir.

Thanks for the kind words guys.
All happened too fast and we chose to keep things private; that is why you guys did not hear anything before her passing.
I will not be replying to this post too often but the messages will be read as I can afford the emotions...
Just to put things in perspective; Lisa and I been together for the past 27 years and married for 24 beautiful years. She was my Baby!!!
We should hit the road tomorrow for her funeral service in Nova Scotia and a Celebration of Life should be held here in Trenton after my return.
I would like to express my thanks to all of the DSM'er that knew of her illness and that respected our wish. At last thanks to all that have stood by us in these difficult times.
Ghislain

I would like to thank everyone for the kind words.
Loosing Lisa was hard; support from family, friends, co-workers and everyone in our lives was more than I could of ever imagine.
We had a wonderful Funeral for Lisa in Nova Scotia. Her extended family, friends and long time friends were again more than supportive.
I will be having a Celebration of Life Ceremony here in Trenton on 8 Oct at 1300L at the WO and Sgt's Mess. Lisa was a very well known and respectable business Woman in this area. The Military community will also be present; especially from 429 Squadron.
The local DSM Community has also offered the utmost respect and support.
All of this has made it easier for me to bare. The road ahead for me will be hard but the memory of the past 27 years spent with her will never be forgotten.
At last thanks; again for the support you guys have provided.
Ghislain

I did not know this was posted on the board, and I have not been on the board in quite some time. I feel this deserves a response.
Lisa, Ghislain and I had a special relationship. Lisa was pinnacle in me starting my own business. She was an amazing woman, and the love Ghislain had for her was outstanding.
My wife (Sam) and I were thinking about her tonight, about how when we go over we would no longer see her sitting on the love seat with her laptop in hand either on Facebook or working away with a glass of Pepsi to her left.
This was hard for Giz, and hard for those close to her. There is not a day that goes by that you and her don't pop into my mind my friend. I'm always there for you.
Ryan
