Just wondering if anyone ever used the old trick of just inserting small plastic/rubber tubing in pre-existent weather stripping to bulk it up and give it a bit more life/seal. Was thinking of doing that to get better seal for cheapies.

Also wondering if they still sell the back hatch one, mines ripped.

I might have one.

I keep mine lubricated with silicone aerosol.

The rear hatch seal is one of those things I always look at if I see a DSM in a scrap yard. They are usually torn so if you find a good one, take it, even if you don't need it right away.

Tell me what size the seal is more or less or take a picture of it. We make various tubings and seals, I can compare to what we have and might have something that works.
