I was just curious as to how much a '92 5-speed Laser RS with 112k km's on it is worth and a '93 Talon 5-speed with 180k km's on it. I saw these two cars today, one in London and one in Byron. I am just wondering, so I know if I would be getting a deal on them or not, thanks!

Greg, it all depends on the condition of the cars and if they're turbo or NT. Also, you won't know if your getting a good deal or not until you actually go look at the car and inspect it.

I learnt this lesson well when I drove 3hrs to montreal to look at 92 TSi AWD with 130k on it and as the owner said "like new" condition for $5500, got there and the thing was a piece of sh*t, I mean the thing had 140K on it not 130K like he said and the thing was worth maybe $3000, it was beaten to sh*t, but the picture in the trader looked good and shiny, haha.
2 weeks later found the same car, similar mileage, color, etc for $5000 in excellent condition and I bought it, probably should have paid $6000 for it, it was a good deal.

Like Paul said, check out the trader to see what they are selling for.

Lasers are usually cheaper with the same condition.

92 would be 3000 grand at most and the Talon and the talon is ESi is about like 3500. these are not "good deals" even cars in good shape

hehehe, thanks for the info. I have been to autotrader.ca many times looking at Talons and Lasers, I was just curious as to how much they were outside of the trader.ca users. Anyways, thanks for the input, and tomorrow I will call about some prices. I did have a look at them today, the Laser looked in better shape with less km's (I think), but I like the Talon more, and it needed new brakes and I am not sure what else, but I will be sure to find out tomorrow, thanks again!

Well, I just called for the prices...the Talon was $7995, loaded with around 180,000 km's on it, and it needed new brakes, and front bumper, and I am not sure what else (out of my price range) and the Laser was $3995, but I could barely understand the guy, he said something about emissions so I am guessing it may need new exhaust, so anyways, the hunt continues on...
