Hey Wes...I sent you an email a week or so ago. Shoot one back to me with your phone # so I can start contacting the local boys for a get together hopefully before I move. The car went up today at Magnus...needs an axle to start with and tommorrow they're gonna see what else is wrong with her...hopefully not much!!

I'm up for a weekday evening. I'm usually working on the weekends. Sean, do you want us to give you our phone numbers or just shoot you up an e-mail?

Im another newmarketonian laugh Ive got a red 90 Tsi Awd, which looks pretty stock minus the exhuast, and gauges on the a pillar. Im from the bristol road and younge street area. A couple weekend ago I drove past Country style/Time hortons in aurora and I saw two talons there, was it anyone from this board? Let me know when a meet is going down. Maybe we can set something up for this saturday night?

Sounds good...the more the merrier. Here's a list so far of the local boys that have responded to this post. There are also 2 or 3 fellas from out of town that have shown interest.

Me
Rick Cole
Lucy (James Lewis)
Wes Swanson
Scotty Williams
Tim Grech
Rob Watson
Chris Watts
Eric Pimpson

That's a pretty good wash and shine session. So far most people said they prefer a week night...sounds good to me. For those guys on the list above & the few out-of-towners that would like to show up shoot me an email at pharoah@rogers.com with you phone # and stuff so I can set something up for a night next week.

Ya Eric. That car was mine in Tim Hortons. I hate to hang out there but I was craving a donut, plus waiting for a phone call. I felt like a loser like all the ones who just hang out ther... even though I knew some people there. Hee Hee. Heres the car pic.

Hey guys...my car should be done by weeks end. Let me know if anyone is game for a Friday evening wash session...I'm thinking around 7 or 8ish before everyone goes out or does whatever. Post here with contact info or email me. Maybe we can meet up at the car wash by Huron Heights.

Hey Guys ....

I used to date this chick that lived in Keswick ..... Her mother owned the Mr. Sub + Plaza with Gino's Pizza on "Queenstone??" the main strip up there ..... I was up there a few times last summer .... maybe you guys saw me - 97 Spyder GST with KOT ULKN on the plate. Any of you know her?

I recall going to the movies with her in Newmarket one night last year and parking beside a marroon eclipse with an "ECLIPSE AUTO" puke licence plate cover on it. I think it was a RS model? Can't remember?? After I drove around looking for some fun in Newmarket couldn't find anything but riced up civics and cops .... Haven't been back since ......

I'm game to come up if you guys are still having a get together ??? Newmarket isn't that far from Markham .... I did make it from Davis to 16th in 8 1/2 minutes on the 404 last year shuffle ........

Maybe someone should post somthing in the "meeting" section? or fire me an email with the details to mmagnoli2@hotmail.com

Well who is up for the Thursday, we should get something together, maybe meet in Newmarket and cruise somwhere, or just a wash session. I'm going to wash the car friday and take a look at the damage done when someone hit my rear bumper.

We should meet in a fairly empty parking lot, like the Loblaws on Davis, or somewhere. Around 7:30 - 8:00pm

Shoot me an email, or get back here, and we'll all agree on something!

Rob

Ps. Sean even if your car is not ready, you should come out, someone will give you a ride.

401 to 404 north, 404 north to Davis Drive, go west on davis drive, 5 lights (I think?) or until you reach Huron Heights drive(Coffee Time on south east side/pizza pizza plaza on north west side) Turn left
look for coin wash behind Coffee time.

I'm pretty sure that is right!

For $80k I would've cut the roof of the talon and bought a set of bumpers, but alas nobody notices the talon smile .

I was glad that you guys showed up, as I was the ONLY guy from Newmarket to show.

AAAAAHHHHHHHH...i fell asleep...got up at like 9pm. This sucks. If we can get together again...god I feel stupid considering I started this thread we should do it at my place. I'm in Glenway until the end of next week...maybe meet here and cruise to where ever...car wash food...etc... I am open to any weekday as long as it is after 7pm or so and anytime on the weekend as I have no life because all my loot is tied up in moving or my car right now. ANYONE who is interested post here so I can email my phone number and address. You guys pick the day. Again sorry for the no-show...I fell like an idiot right now.

I'm always up for a "meet" that's nearby, since I can't make the Yorkdale ones. Let me know.

I never did get around to actually washing the car tonight anyways.

Hey Im from newmarket (well Holland Landing) I drive a 98 Talon TSi with a big FMIC on it and gun metal wheels whith a polished lip. Click on my profile to see a pic of it. I was at Tim Hortons in Aurora a few times in the last couple weeks so it's probablly my car you saw. If anybody wants to organize a local meet lets go for it.

My email is vr6jim@sympatico.ca add me to your list of invites.

I know a couple of guys in bradford that will probablly come with DSM's that likely are not on this board. A blue Eclipse with a Blitz kit on it and FMIC his name is Roger Cruz) he would probablly come too.

Newmarket, Ontario
I'm down for a get together one day this week if anyone else is. I work until about 6...home and ready to go by 7-730ish. Let's get something together.

I saw a TSi at Tim Hortons like you described. I'm not sure about the FMIC though. Anyway, my car stopped working one day so I took off the accessories and timing belt cover. I snapped my balance shaft belt, which destroyed my t-belt which rendered my n/t inoperable. Probably won't make it out to any recent meets unless I find someone who wants to pick me up and drop me off. Time for that turbo engine to go in that I've been building up anyway. laugh
