Cool.

That is low mileage for a 95. Take care of it and it will work for ever.

Ghislain.

Nice, I wish my 95 had low mileage like that!

I'm just about to hit 150,000 in the next week or so smile

And like Ghislain said, take care of it and these DSM's are solid cars, despite what some nay-sayers believe bird

He said his car has 100 000 miles, not KM's. Just thought that I would clarify that for those who misread. Anyways. Here's to getting another 100 000 miles of fun in your DSM.

I find it pretty impressive to see our cars reaching high miles/km.

It's true, take care of them and they will last.

I just past the 381 475km mark (daily driver). All original parts, no engine work – as of yet.

Oh, and 100 000 miles is about 160 000km.
1 mile = 1.609 km

I got 134,500 on my 95.
I wonder who has the lowest KM on their 1g/2g. Would be nice to have a 40-50K on a 2g

I am guessing PPG may have one of the lowest 1G's in the club, Andy B probably has fairly low milage on his 2G since it sat in the garage for years.

Greg, your 98awd propably has the split thrust bearing so its little safer from C/W. I know my wifes 98 has it. Late 98s and 99 had the revised block and bearings.

I have around 140k on my 95. bought it 2 years ago and only put on 10k.. I hope to have it for a loooooooooooooooooooooong time.

As for the lowest km 2g, a while back on dsm tuners there was a thread about a brand new GSX, with like 20 miles on it. It has been at the dealer for a long time, not sold. Price tag was insane, around 20k!
But it still had full warranty.. and a new car. Would be nice to own a brand new 2nd gen. I wonder what that would feel like wink

I've got 54K on my 98. I was talking to a member on a different board who had a 98 & his car had the split thrust bearings & was manufactured in June of 97. Mine was produced in the same month, so I'm hoping for the split bearings tu

No fuss, it's just very impressive lol. tu

Anyways back on topic. I would easily pay 20K for that brand new 2G. That would be pretty sweet. I would however feel bad about putting any km's on it as I would want it to stay new for ever.

I have 186,000 kms on my 97......with a complete head rebuild done 18months ago.

When that odo crosses 200, I am going to celebrate by parking her and getting a shiny new Evo X.

I want an RS4.

Lowest Mileage 1g would be interesting? I've got just over 200k on mine but you'd never know it.

My '91 made it to just over 358,000kms before I decided I was getting too much blow-by and it was time for a rebuild.

The body was taken car of summer of '05 and the rebuilt engine is at 1100kms, still breaking in. laugh

I'm expecting another 358,000kms...but we'll see.
I'd probably shell out the money for a brand new '91 AWD...oh wait, I almost have!

Will should keep us updated on how far he goes before a rebuild!

Congrats on the 100k Ciara. Another 100k should be no problem for the engine with proper maintenance. smile
